Ethereum deemed not a security by the SEC
A top official at the SEC has officially stated that they do not define Ethereum, in its current structure, as a security. This is obviously huge news for the space, especially in the current market context.

I'm really surprised honestly... It seems to me it is a security and they just made an exception to be less disruptive.. I think laws should be changed if they no longer work.. but if you're gonna keep those old definitions of what a security is without changing them... I'm dumbfounded how Ethereum isn't a security.

Dear SEC,
We don’t really give a flying fuck which #Crypto you think are securities & which ones aren’t. We aren’t going anywhere & neither is our new system.
Love you Byeeeeeeee 👋🏻

I am glad they ruled that is not a security it would have caused a lot of problems. I have lots of coins there are ethereum based. There was a lot more at risk then a lot of people knew.
-
Yeah, glad this is finally over with. Now there's nowhere for ETH to go but up once the market stabilizes.

Wow that's really bad. I always wonder, should we use the punish feature for situations like this? It seems like a really harsh reprimand for something that isn't really severe, but I also feel like people shouldn't just be able copy/paste other posts.

Is that bad news about ethereum. which I see eth has good technology among coins. How could that happen? is there no update for the problem?
-
That is a really good news so I expected a big rise in eth price but unfortunately the fall of bitcoin affects everything

Its kind of crazy he did it on the same post like 2 posts down, if an admin or mod sees this, decide what you think is fair.. I'm afraid to use the Karma system for this because like sugarchrisp says, I don't know what is against the rules.

What they say is what they have in their mind or maybe they are big investors from any competitors of ethereum and they are using their influence to immobilize the progress of ethereum.
This doesn't matter anyway. What ever they say and do ethereum will work accordingly.

This is a good news and when market will be bullish again I'm quite confident that ETH will return back to its maximum price

Ethereum, not a security. I think what they say about ethereum, that is good news for us. Ethereum is an unstoppable coin right now. So, there is no doubt that it will have great raise.
