The way I am now may have been different and follow what is being updated on the Altcointalks forum.
I said that the Altcointalks forum is a fairly complete Crypto forum with a pretty good appearance, as well as being the place for the signature campaign of the Mixer Platform.

You can explain altcoinstalks to someone without mentioning any other forum, this forum is not linked to any other one, if one is very interested in altcoins, then tell them about altcoinstalks and you can also tell them about other forums that have sections for altcoins. Take note that this forum is not all about money, so i don't know why you think this is the right way to introduce people to it.

Did you happened to read OP's post completely and understand what he means by how to tell her brother? they even have got  internet and electricity so what does he mean by wanting to tell her brother about such forum? and do you really believe that people are entering crypto forum just to read and learn? people are here to make money either INVESTING/PROVIDING JOBS/JOINING CAMPAIGNs and many more , I don't know if you will admit that you are in crypto for"LEARN AND EARN" but I will admit that reality without being hypocrite.
and another thing is that OP have mentioned he learned Altcoinstalk from Bitcointalk so why  need to tell me about not to mention other forum when OP himself have told us this?

The first thing I have to think about before inviting someone to come to this forum is that I have to make sure whether they are really interested and involved with crypto or not. Because I think someone will be a quality poster if they are really interested in crypto and if they are involved with crypto every day like a trader or something then they will also be more expected to contribute actively to discussions on this forum.

I think it is good that more people are using Altcointalks forum because of Mixer platform. This shows that people want place where they can talk about altcoins and join signature campaigns and as they want to talk like mixers. More people visiting forum will help it grow and bring in new users who used to be on other sites like Bitcointalk. This shift of users to Altcointalks shows that forum is becoming more well-known and trusted in cryptocurrency world. In general I believe this is good sign that forum is growing and could become top choice for people who like altcoins. And this is happen just because Bitcointalk users. Basically Bitcointalk users know that how they can use engage and talk to any one. So this thing is increasing the traffic of this forum too.

Bitcoin has been a popular and most dominance Crypto coins. It should be believed that whoever that has heard of Alt Coins should have heard of Bitcoin too which there are also people who have heard of Bitcoin but have not heard of Alt Coins so, you can just start to explain to him from basic development of Bitcoin and thereafter Alt coins was also developed.

You can talk about the risks involved in the crypto markets and not just focus on the profit sides so you can earlier build his emotions not to be sentimental with whatever south ways of the market when he finally invests on the Alt coin.

Good point, there is no need of wasting time on someone who is not interested in learning about bitcoin or willing to join the crypto community, this should be the first task that we must make sure to do, its a means of evaluating the person involved if they can have interest here, give it the required time and energy in contributing to the community, learn and also stay on the platform than when we made a wasted efforts on someone not interested on staying.

Explain to them what a subforum is, how to create a thread or how to respond to a post, for example. If they see how you do simple things like that, I think they will quickly understand how the forum works and the different features available. You can also encourage them to create an account and experiment for themselves. They will have all the help they need.

I think the best way to learn is to see how someone does things, whether it's posting on a forum or building a house. Then come the first tests, the first errors, the doubts... And so anyone can learn and explain anything, trying things and making mistakes. If they see how a user, even with little experience, moves and interacts in the forum, in a few days they will know how to get along without any problem. From that moment on everything is much simpler.

If you're trying to introduce altcointalks to someone, there's no problem if you mention Bitcointalks along the way because they are both forums that present the same opportunity of learning and earning at the same time, so the choice of which to join will now depend on the individual. Bitcointalks may naturally be more attractive to a person more interested in bitcoins, and altcointalks to someone more interested in altcoins, although the two forums still have boards where Altcoins and bitcoins are discussed, respectively.
