Bitcoin Forum / Re: Future of Bitcoin

1,750,000 Bitcoin wallets have been inactive for more than 10 years - they collectively contain 1,798,681 BTC worth $120 billion. Some wallets periodically wake up and transfer coins to other addresses or exchanges.

For example: "A wallet that has been inactive for over 10 years woke up and transferred all 687 BTC ($43.9 million) to another address."

User Link: https://blockstream.info/address/15WZNLACuvcDrrBL2btDErJggnaMQtHh5G bought the coins on January 12, 2014, when the price was $917 per 1 BTC.

Tether in partnership with Chainalysis will now "closely" track USDT transactions - they plan to identify wallets associated with illegal activity and sanctions circumvention.

4 tools will be used to track transactions: sanctions monitoring, illegal transfers detector, categorization and large wallet analysis.

P.S. There is simply no question of decentralization. I wonder what they'll come up with in a few years.

P.S. Looks like the above information has begun to be confirmed. It's interesting to see what happens next.  :o

Whale Alert reports that Tether has frozen two addresses with a combined balance of 14 million USDT. Apparently, monitoring has indeed intensified after the news of sanctions circumvention.

The memory of Hal Finney will remain associated with Satoshi and Bitcoin forever. The history of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies cannot be mentioned without mentioning Hal Finney and his enormous contribution to their development, recognition and acceptance around the world.

It is known to everyone that the first Bitcoin sending transaction in history took place in 2009. When Satoshi Nakamoto’s sent 10BTC to Hal Finney’s. This was the first cryptocurrency transaction.

This was the true beginning of the launch of Bitcoin and Satoshi’s dream of a peer-to-peer currency, which might not have seen the light of day had it not been for Hal Finney’s enthusiasm, adoption of the idea, and his great contributions later.
Alas, we will never know the truth, everything on the internet is just speculation by the authors of the articles and nothing more. No one claims anything in particular. There are plenty of articles about the real Satoshi - but where's the guarantee that it's him? That's right, there's no guarantee. It's a secret that no one will ever know.

P.S. And how many articles were there in which the author pointed out who the real real Satoshi really was. And then, refuted their own written articles.  ;D

MetaMask has introduced "smart transactions" to combat certain types of MEV bots that front-end transactions.

To do this, they will be directed to a "virtual mempool" before implementation. The pool will also support transaction prediction, which will also help reduce commission costs.

Yield of each halving era of BTC by profitability and size of corrections - profitability is decreasing, but drawdowns are also decreasing:

1. Profit +5315%, drawdown -85%
2. Profit +1336%, drawdown -83%
3. Profit +569%, drawdown -77%

P.S. There was one piece of positive news today:

A solo miner independently mined a block on the first cryptocurrency network and earned 3.4 BTC ($220,000).

Tether has said it will block any addresses associated with sanctioned entities - this comes after information that Venezuela's state oil company is using USDT to circumvent sanctions.

News link: https://cointelegraph.com/news/tether-freeze-usdt-venezuela-oil-sanctions

P.S. On the one hand, it is quite right to show users who are under sanctions. But on the other hand, is this about decentralization?

Ethereum Forum / Re: ETH going to 3k
« on: May 06, 2024, 08:34:17 AM »
Maybe VB already thought about it, but the media didn't show it. Indeed, Vitalik Buterin's assets are quite large, that is the question people are asking, who will his inheritance fall to? of course the biggest inheritance will fall to his family,
He has a father + in-laws, you don't have to worry in that regard, they'll be fine. More importantly what it will do with ETH + what network updates will happen. What he has created and is creating is unlikely to be repeated by anyone. This is exactly the kind of person you should look up to.

P.S. Don't just attract investment + instill faith in your project. Undoubtedly ETH will be 5 thousand dollars (possibly higher). This is not financial advice.

      -     That's because the majority of communities always have a problem—the thing that they already have enough money to release—and they can't do anything about it because they have allowed greediness to exist. That is the obstacle when there is a lack of deep knowledge of trading.

But if there were responsible traders, for sure, even if the earnings are not that big, as long as there is a profit, at least it has been released on the platform exchange.
It is necessary to solve such problems immediately to the extent possible and desirable. Again, it all depends on the person.

P.S. There are traders who trade steadily = have income. So there is something to strive for and set goals. Either way, who doesn't try/test etc = no experience/revenue. The main thing is to start, from here on everything will be great!  8)

Today could have been the 68th birthday of Hal Finney, the man who received the first ever Bitcoin transaction personally from Satoshi Nakamoto.

Finney was a well-known crypto activist. In the early 1990s, in addition to regularly sending messages to crypto-punks using Listserv, Finney wrote sought-after code integrating encryption tools into a special free email distribution software, remailers.

In 2004, Finney wrote the first "Multiple Proof of Work" algorithm prior to the creation of Bitcoin. In January 2009, Finney became the first recipient of a transaction on the Bitcoin network.

According to one version, Finney is the very creator of the first cryptocurrency.

I respect your opinion, but I also want to give my opinion on this matter.

I don't agree if you say bitcoin is only suitable for whales or people who have large capital to receive decent profits. Because the fact is that now many small investors with minimal capital are also getting big profits from bitcoin.

Indeed, altcoins can also provide big profits, but for me bitcoin will remain my first choice for investing.
Either way, it's as high risk asset as possible, manipulated by the (big) players. Absolutely no one knows where the price will go, everything that is written and etc. is just a guess, nothing more.

P.S. In any case, do not overestimate risks and do not succumb to the manipulations of the crowd. Only in this case, there is a minimal possibility of preserving capital. In other cases, the % of losing everything (that you have) is maximized. The final choice is yours.  ???

Solana Forum / Re: Is Solana coin a good investment?
« on: May 05, 2024, 12:07:23 PM »
Bitcoin is a priority coin for investors in the crypto world, they are more confident and feel safe when placing their money in investing in crypto by buying and holding bitcoin for the long term. Apart from being a safe coin and having less risk, Bitcoin is also predicted to have a bright future
Honestly? I don't think it makes much difference what kind of coin it is. If you observe the risks + do well-considered actions in any case you will reach the desired result. In general, any investment in cryptocurrency = big risks. 1 negative news and most coins will instantly drop in value - remember that, it's really important.

P.S. No one knows what will happen next with the price of sol, maybe we will see something really interesting.  ???
