Do you think there is a chance in 2019 to overtake bitcoin in price?

I have a new question: how can ETH overcome BTC if the price of ETH depends on the price of Bitcoin?

ethereum my opinion will not happen to take over bitcoin, because I also believe that bitcoin is also the most popular and also the highest price of the prices of all the altcoins on the market, so I don't think ETH can take over bitcoin.

No, it is impossible for any coin to finish or overtake Bitcoin now or in the next 10years. Remember allmost coins/tokens are used to exchange Bitcoin, and it is the first coin, which also it advantage over all coins. The number of bitcoin in circulation is very small which is only 17.5 million coins
Ethereum has over 105 million coins in circulation. Tell me, how do you expect Ethereum to overtake bitcoin, huh? lol

 in form of  transaction   many businesses accepted bitcoin it's dominance to other crypto currency, therefore bitcoin maintains it's high level of acceptance. so i don't think there's no chance  to overtake or overthrown bitcoin to it's position but in other hand will continue to increase in dominates in crypto world.

$1000 USD is a very big target of ETH price at this time, BTC still accounts for half of the total market capitalization, I think ETH should focus on upgrading the system & expanding the network + applications instead of wanting occupy the No.1 position of BTC

I think that Ethereum has a much stronger application than BTC. And most probably this year it would be able to increase in value.

It's daydreamy to say ETH's price will overtake BTC's, even in far future. ETH stands for crypto's innovation while BTC stands for crypto as a whole. Even when taking market cap in to consideration, it's hardly possible for ETH to surpass BTC.

It will not happen in 2019 and we will not see this further. Bitcoin popularity cannot be beaten, Ethereum is great but it will not do it.

I don't think so, mate. I see no chance for Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin this year. You can see the fact that sometimes when Bitcoin price is increasing, Ethereum price looks going down. I see the power of Ethereum still cannot defeat the Bitcoin. Everything is possible in the future, but it seems not for this year.

Bitcoin still has an important role in the crypto market so that the position of bitcoin will remain the foremost, and ethereum is still difficult to compete with bitcoin.

Bitcoin’s success is predicated largely on its size, popularity, and age, whereas its offering is quite straightforward.BTC is still perfectly good.I do not think anyone will overtake, even if is ETH.
