We are the same thought, I must prefer to invest Ethereum compared to Ripple. Ethereum was having a smart contract technology and it is now most use in ICO's project to purchase token. While in other hand Ripple is centralized it means there is the third party who was manipulating this coin. So it is not safe for investment.

I'm not a big fan of Ripple not only for the centralized piece, but mainly because the Dev team owns sooooo much of the supply.. at some point they will start dumping and dumping heavy since they have 10s of billions.. will not be pretty price action.

Why do you compare ethereum with ripple? 

Because ripple is kinda good too

In what area? Is it by being accepted of some bank? Because I think that the only thing that riple has compare to eth.
I would be glad if you give me some reason for the advantages of riple.

Both coin are good coins but if I have to choose between the two altcoins I'd rather choose ETH because of its usage in the ICO.

I bought ripple long ago and sold just before New Year, which was nice, but rebought some of it. So the price remains far below my initial investment at the moment. I hope Ripple will pick up soon. I see Etherium as my gas and solely use it for transaction purposes rather than an investment, contrarious to Ripple which should be good as a long term haul.
