Yes, and what is very important - you must keep a record of your income and expenses, believe me this simple and accessible mechanism (even on paper, or in Excel or GoogleTab), will allow you to see the real situation of your income and expenses, and to understand where you have "weaknesses", which should be paid attention to
There is another essential tip for growing rich and advancing in life, and it is controlling your habits. Every individual has a particular habit—something that they like so much and can lavish money on unapologetically. It could be love for clothes, jewelry, tech devices, drinking, womanizing, smoking, gambling, etc. If a person is unable to control their habits, it will put a very big hole in their pocket financially, and they will not be able to keep money regardless of whatever they earn.

What do you think about setting your budgets?
You may set a budget and never stick to it because you lack the discipline to do so. Aside from setting a budget, there is a need to be disciplined about sticking to it because budgets do not work unless you make them do.

After setting your budget, make sure to avoid people who make you forget your financial goals and spend above your means. Avoid people who are more interested in spending than in earning.

For comparison, Fury is 262 pounds (119kg), so heavier by 39 pounds (almost 18kg).
Fury has had more KO's than Usyk, although younger in age, his size has been an advantage.

Fury can use the weight to his advantage again unless Usyk has already devised a technique and way to make sure that Fury does not get the upper hand. Fury looks in the best of shapes, and Usyk too; it is best to say both fighters will be giving their all. The two fighters are not used to losing, so when they are out to fight in a few hours, they will both be focused on winning.

Few hours to go.

That news no be today news and e dey tay small. I think na in the month of March na dat news came and the public opinion was seriously against the Policy so dem don cancelled am. E no work out again. Dat matter dem don settle am very long time ago.
By my reputation, you should know that I will not bring up an issue that has been settled or closed. If you had gone through the source from which I referenced this discussion, you would have seen that it was dated May 16, 2024, and the news clearly shows that the CBN now has the backing of the court to demand social media accounts.

Contrary to what you think, the matter was not settled, nor was it canceled, but it was in court, and now that the court has given its stance on it, be ready to give an answer when the bank starts requesting it.

What do you think is the main factor that affects a country's economy positively today?
A country that invests massively in human capital development will definitely see the reward in their economy, as productivity will generally be on the rise. With developed infrastructure and people whose mental development does not match those infrastructures, the economy will not progress because productivity will not be at its maximum.

Human capital development is the most important to me.

Nigerian Languages / Social media account as KYC requirement?
« on: May 18, 2024, 08:48:03 PM »
Have you seen the recent development that banks can now demand customers submit their social media handles as part of their KYC requirements? What do you think of this? And what do you think of this if exchanges start demanding social media accounts as KYC requirements?

When the SEC and the EFCC positions were appointed, we all thought it was a way to financial freedom for the youths since these positions are occupied by the youths. Instead we're on the knife here.
They are youths, but they are fruits from the same bad tree.

The EFCC chairman said our crypto are being used to finance the country's terrorism - I couldn't wrap my head round the whole thing because it's kind of weird for someone who has been in the financial sector to think this way.
It just shows how foolish these people are or how foolish they take us to be because long before cryptocurrency, there has always been terrorism, and terrorism and its activities have always been funded, so now why blame it all on crypto?

if we are in this kind of situation where the electricity is still on like its normal situation still and internet is accessible, wouldn't it make sense for the warlords to accept BTC and other crypto?
Physical cash or physical things may be better for transactions in the time of a civil war because not many people will have the opportunity to keep their devices charged during a civil war for them to be able to confirm transactions made to them with crypto or bitcoins. It will be easier to carry around your assets in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency during a time of civil war than to use Bitcoin or cryptocurrency for transactions.

Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town are the 3 teams that will be relegated this season, they have to leave the Premier League after they failed to perform well in the Premier League this season, they have to start again from the second caste to be able to return to the Premier League.
The same teams that were promoted to the Premier League last season are the same teams that have been sent back to be replaced by Leicester, Ipswich Town, and the winner between Leeds and Southampton.

The competition is very serious and if teams like Leicester, Ipswich town do not prepare for the competition in the EPL, they will not last in the league and will quickly be relegated again.

Everton and Nottingham forest really did well not to get relegated this season despite their points deductions.

So as an individual how do you plan to have a secured job considering that every job is at risk?
These artificial intelligence and machines that are taking jobs for humans will require people to maintain them and run updates, as they cannot do that for themselves. This means that some humans will still be indispensable, considering their skill set and specialty. My advice is that, as an individual currently working in the sector where you know that your job is threatened by replacements by AI, I advise that you start taking courses to improve your skill sets and turn yourself into someone that your company cannot do without.

It is the bitter truth, but it is better to prepare your mind and know that the government does not care about you as much as you think they do, and if you must do better in society, it is your personal responsibility to strive for it and not wait for the government to come help you out. In most countries, the government is busy stealing public funds and does not care about the economy. If you happen to be in one of such countries and you keep blaming the government for your predicaments, you will never progress. Make it a personal responsibility to not be subject to the oppression of your government; emancipate yourself.

What do you think that makes a country powerful? Is it the country 's military or her economy or her currency.
A powerful country is one that has a stable economy and a strong military as well. A powerful country is a country that can be self-sustaining; it is a country that does not depend on another country for many things; rather, Other countries depend on them for certain things. A country will not be powerful if its economy is stronger than its military or if its military is by far stronger than its economy, because a poor economy will find it difficult to support the military in a time of crisis.

I really do like your point of view here. Possibly, if this idea is focused on the university students, it would be nice because at that stage, students are well matured and groomed enough to absorb useful information and knowledge and also knowing what to do with information gotten through knowledge. Explaining things of that nature to university students would not really burden them because they are vast and can easily assimilate information they get compared to secondary or primary school students. I think your points here are very much valid and acceptable.
It is reasonable to consider university students paying more mature to understand the dangers of gambling and the need for responsible gambling, but I think that early education matters a lot in life because people in secondary schools and even primary schools are being exposed to gambling, and if you wait until university before you start educating these people about responsible gambling, it may be too late.

Gambling discussion / Re: No risk no gain
« on: May 17, 2024, 11:18:57 PM »
So here is my question, have done something like this knowing fully well that the risk is whatbrings the rewards and how did it go for you own experience.
There are real gamblers who are very used to taking the risk of gambling, while the rest play it safe while gambling. The real gamblers are the ones who take the risk, and they usually end up with very huge rewards for taking such a huge risk. But before these gamblers take the risk, it is not always an irresponsible move because some of them actually have the ability to manage the risk and the outcome if it doesn't go well for them. So before you take any risks, be sure that you can manage the outcome, even if it goes negatively.

I am still confused why the price is still going up upon all the dreams with Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges in the country. Presently the price or the exchange rate is USD1 = NGN1564.71 even as this we are still praying for good Nigeria. Last week again President Tinubu said they should extend the Binance Staff detention until the needed information are given. And I don't think Binance is ready to release such vital information to Nigeria Government.
They will look for more people to arrest and more people to blame for their cluelessness, because by now it should be obvious to them that it was not binance or even the naira speculators that they blamed that is the cause of the problem of the naira. They are just chasing shadows and ignoring the real problem, like they do not know it.

It is very embarrassing that one of the detained binance executives is still in custody, it is a shame.
