Caution is never redundant in this market, fortunately I have never encountered a similar situation. I use Ubuntu on my laptop to manage crypto-related information and it seems to be much safer than Windows, and I also don't install any unnecessary software on that laptop. Viruses are everywhere and can change the address to the address of hackers to steal users' crypto assets.
~snip~

I generally agree that caution is something that has no alternative when it comes to cryptocurrencies, especially their storage and transactions. I also agree that any Linux based OS is more secure than Windows OS, but even the latter can be quite secure if we use it in a way that we don't do things that are risky.

Pirate software, crack, various content from torrents, as well as visits to "suspicious websites" are not something that should be connected with our crypto wallets or any other activity related to cryptocurrencies. If someone is careless and in addition does not have some basic knowledge, then there are great chances that he will make a wrong step, regardless of which OS he uses.

No matter how safe we keep our device we should not ignore the cross checking the address after pasting in the send tab, I check twice or thrice to make sure I am not infected with clippers.
this is why i triple check each time i am copying and pasting my address and if there is an option i would rather use the qr code so i am less vulnerable in this address glitching .

As you said, usage of pirated apps or even the OS is the primary reasons why many users become victims of the hackers. These attacks usually target wide range of people so we can save ourselves when we try to be sensible with our funds.
correct and this is the sole reason why most are offering free apps downloading because it is not that game or what they are offering is importand instead the advantage they can get in you.

Forum related / Re: Campaigns and Forums Traffic

I find it very hard to find enough topics that interest me enough to comment on. I might get 12-15 comments in a week and I struggle to get that many, so for me we just don't have enough members creating new topics on different boards.
I think we need to discuss more about altcoin. When I joined here I thought that the discussions and comparisons about altcoin would be deeper, but look at the boards of Ethereum, Solana, XRP , Polygon , Cardano ,...etc. You will find them all about the price and not discussions about the blockchain or the developments that could occur. The situation is completely different on the Bitcoin board.
Why do you think that is though? Lack of users simply interested in more than chasin a buck?

I want to ask, is there a problem when sending Bitcoin from the Coinomize.biz mixer to one of the large exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Kucoin...etc?

Is there a problem when transferring directly to these exchanges or is it better to send to a Non-custodial wallet first?

And again, self-deception that you can get rich on gambling. If a person isn't ready for big money, then most likely after a sudden win - will return to the financial level he was at or worse.

Most of the people who are into gambling big time and even those people who we think their lives are changed by gambling for the better are actually living in an illusion which they themselves could not manage well...and so they will eventually end up in the dump dreaming of the time when things are on top and when they were still lucky. For me, a good gambler (that is, if there is one) should know that luck can come not all the time so when a person is winning big then he should be using the money not to continue gambling as the stacks are surely will not be always on his side...he should learn to invest and make money from the money he won. The problem is that gamblers are themselves lost in reality and they have their own worlds to contend with...until lightning will strike them back to the world we live in not anymore having the money and sometimes even losing the very pants he is wearing. For me, the one and only way to really make money with gambling is operating one...either legally or illegally.

It certainly can crush you financially. If you are gambling a steady amount you likely are losing a steady amount.

General Discussion / Re: Have you won anything online?
« Last post by hugeblack on Today at 05:42:28 AM »

I won several times. There was a competition for the tenth anniversary of the founding of BTT and I won a small amount in it, and I won some competitions on Twitter. The total profits from these competitions may be less than 0.05 Bitcoin, but they may be worth a lot in the future.
I win some challenges on Instagram, but they are mostly gym-related, so they are usually free subscriptions, free meals, or indoor plants.

Ethereum Forum / Re: When etherium Hit $5k
« Last post by bitterguy28 on Today at 05:41:49 AM »
We have been waiting for a long time to touch a new milestone of Ethereum. The price of etherium has gone down a lot in the past. But then for a little while Ethereum can touch  $5k. But do you think Etherium could touch $5k?

5 months after your post? ethereum almost hit 5k stands up to

All-time high
Nov 16, 2021 (2 years ago)
$4,891.70

that is 109 dollars short from your asked price so i believe that we are waiting for this to happen very soon , at least Ethereum will hit
7 thousand in the coming months or march next week is the maximum date for this to happen.

Good luck if you are still waiting and keeping your holding.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Phoenix Wallet another US ban?
« Last post by hugeblack on Today at 05:36:31 AM »

Is it still possible to access ---> https://phoenix.acinq.co/? If that is possible, I hope they add an APK link. This way, users will be able to download the application easily.
It's non-custodial because it gives 12 words mnemonics seeds or that's what they denote as why Phoenix wallet is not a custodial wallet in their FAQ page.
This relates to the wallet, but when we talk about the Lightning Network, it is a self-contained Lightning node where you can easily set up your own Lightning Network, pay others and withdraw easily.
