Bitcoin Forum / Re: Phoenix Wallet to be removed from US app stores
« Last post by SamReomo on Today at 09:55:32 PM »
When the US government has given a statement like that, it is best for those who have assets in Phoenix wallets to immediately move their assets to other wallets. As we know there are still many wallets that could be used as a solution to this problem, the Electrum Wallet might be worth considering.
Yes, I agree, the users who currently trust and use Phoenix wallet or Wasabi wallet should move their assets to safe wallets which may not blacklist their countries even if US shutdowns another wallet that's providing similar features.

I believe Electrum is the best wallet for everyone who want to be secure from such policies of the so called privacy wallets. In simple words, if you haven't done something wrong then you don't need to fear anyone.

The ones who want to move their assets to Electrum should consider using a layer to provide better privacy to their transactions. In such case I believe a mixer like UniJoin could be a very useful option for them.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you need to spend to earn?
« Last post by Agbe on Today at 09:52:35 PM »
At the starting point of any project, business and investment company is always difficult or hard to makw profit and hard to attract people to buy or invest so at the initial time the price is always low foe the to come nd the population has increased then the price would also increase. And if you want to be successful person in the world you must spend money to get money. And even now there are some exchanges the vendors delay payment so it still cause heart attack. But now the p2p is getting better in the cryptocurrency market. I the card is not for free but for pay service. You have to spend more to gain more. Even participating in this forum you have to spend more by buying data to browse.

Right after I wrote this post, I opened a topic where the admin gives an explanation supplemented with screenshots, everything is more than clear. https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=313190

However, someone thought they had something to add, in addition to the fact that it does not refer to the problem that caused the topic to be opened, it is also very confusingly written, and it does not explain anything.
To go back to the same topic after posting you can click on your profile option from there you can go to show post option and click on the last posted post link but you can reach the previous topic. If you find this too cumbersome then the last post you post will be at the top of the specified section and your post will be at the very end. Your task is to find your post by going to the last page of the first topic in the specified section.

So what do you say, does this post deserve + or - karma?
This is a sample post of a user who directly answers the thread's title. You can see that his answer does not follow the flow of the discussion, maybe without knowing that the thread was created by the admin giving an instruction or guide to this certain topic that was raised by teleported users a few months ago.

He also has a red or a bad color quality badge.

However, leaving the U.S market doesn't mean doing something wrong in my honest opinion, i believe they have seen what just happened to Samourai wallet and they are trying to be a step in front.
Yes, that's very true but they are leaving the US market when they saw Samourai wallet got seized by the SEC. That simply shows that they fear that in future they might also get seized if they continue their services in the US.

I know some people say that US is going to shutdown each privacy providing service, but if the privacy providing service hasn't done something wrong then why they even have to fear a government?

For persons invested in trading memes, these themes often help propel the growth of meme tokens. Thus far, it has earned Bitget listing. I'll truly want to know your thoughts about $MANEKI and Solana Gems generally.
Well, for Maneki - which is said to be a Chinese based meme coin themed to mean Goodluck as you mentioned, I think this is just another one Solana based meme coins that managed to pull through into a centralized exchange listing amongst the millions that have failed to achieve same result.
And biget seem to be the very first centralized exchange this meme coins always gets listed on, though I have heard the name, "Maneki" mentioned by to notable people I follow on X, I personally have not really taken the time to find out more about this coin, but I wouldn't immediately trust it will do well, not until it captures the attention of another exchange listing in the top 10 centralized exchanges.

And speaking on Solana meme coins in general, sorry to say but their are shit, and the fact that solana have become a meme coins dominated blockchain even looks dangerous for the blockchain, for what happens to them when the meme narrative eventually fades away?

The new system will be one of central bank digital currency (CBDC) which would give governments and bankers the power to monitor and control all aspects of economic and social life.

The "beautiful" outcome of dedollarization ! I'm sure all the "fighters against the dollar" will be very happy. Especially:
- total control of ANY of their transactions, their savings, their transactions.
- the ability to "in one" click block not only all their funds but also any payments from or to them.
- cross-chain implementation, will allow you to track, monitor and control government and central banks, all their transactions and wallets, even outside your CBDC !

Reminds me a bit of the historical example of China's fight against sparrows. China has decided to do some kind of de-sparrowization :) And they were so happy about it, they dreamed of stealing rice from the fields, and if we destroy it, we will live happily ever after. They did. More precisely, they destroyed sparrows for a long time and with the whole country. Exterminated. But the next harvest .... no, it didn't go up. it's almost completely gone! Why? Because the sparrows were stealing rice, but they were also killing pests. The "wise government of China and the people" decided not to think too much and just destroy...  It's basically "shooting yourself in the knee". as well as going to the CBDC, through the destruction of the established financial system....

is there still going to be a bull run this year? Or should we just pack our bags and go home? 😬😁
No, it's still too early to pack our bags because we are already in middle of the bull market and it's just the beginning of this bull run. 2024-2025 are going to be very bullish years for crypto currencies, especially for Bitcoin. The market had to have some corrections overtime as without corrections the market won't work.

Bitcoin hasn't yet reached $80k value and it's too early to even think about packing the bags because when the market gets intensity, we can expect Bitcoin crossing $100k value. If we check the history of Bitcoin then we can understand that it's too early to expect the peak price of Bitcoin at current times because history shows us that Bitcoin reaches its best values in October to December of previous bull runs.

Now keeping that in our mind, we can expect Bitcoin to do something similar in this bull run as well. This bull run is going to be much more intense than the previous bull runs because in this bull run huge investment companies have launched their ETFs and they will do their best to make Bitcoin reach the top values.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: for fun or to earn money?
« Last post by LUCKMCFLY on Today at 09:44:06 PM »
It seems to me that its entirely possible to combine the fun of gambling with earning money. if you are a professional sports bettor you can enjoy both the thrill and the income it brings. As for slots you can also play them for money but it's important to approach this responsibly. Don't quit your main job right away! :)
Jokes aside. it's true that we all love money but anything that clouds a clear mind is not a winning strategy.
There's every possiblity to enjoy both the fun that comes with gambling as well as earning good money from the game but for you to achieve that, you must learn how to gamble majorly because of the fun as that will significantly help you to make good decisions that will give you good winnings at the end of the day. But when a gambler engages in gambling majorly because of his desire to earn from gambling, he's very likely to lose both the fun of the game as well as his desire to earn money from gambling. So in a nutshell, it's not a bad idea to earn from gambling as it requires ones finances to engage in it but that shouldn't make a gambler to prioritize how much he'll earn at the end of the day over the fun of the game of gambling

I think that when we play the main thing we should do is find a way to win, of course the fun thing is something that is already Predefined what we Should do, in part what I think is that when we go to play we have to take care of it. our money, there is no other way, as I have said many Times , even if it is 1 Dollar, it is what we must always consider, because a casino does not regulate money, it only offers bonuses, contests, but things must always be done, work , or some effort, but hardly free, it is not something that has to be fulfilled, 'but when we are in such a Situation we must always look for a way to always take care of our balance.
