I would say that the $80K zone can only be breached after April 1st or can even be after the halving happened. Right now, the BTC market is retreating into a small dip maybe because there seems to be a lack of impetus in the market right now as there is a trend of outflows from Bitcoin ETFs which affected the overall sentiment of the market. Seems like Bitcoin is running out of fuel this time and reenergizing itself for another possible run towards the $70K level before the halving. Hopefully, things will improve before the end of the month so that BTC will not go back to the $50K area.

I voted for number 5. However, maybe after the halving we might see 80k. I remembered saying that bitcoin will reach 80k before the halving, before a correction in price took place. If you look at the market now, bitcoin is still on the sideway movement. The price needs to reach 73k first and above for us to start hoping to see 80k price, and we are on the third week of March. This is why I said after the halving, but if bitcoin price want to skyrocket to 80k, it can within few days.

I also picked After April 1st and happening in 2024. I hope that maybe sometime in April it will be 80K and more hopefully. It's something that I've been looking forward to for so long as well. It's not like I'm gonna sell but it's another monumental price for BTC that would be amazing for everyone in the space.

In this I will agree with philipma1957, I believe that the downturn has already had its effect, some retail investors have already been fleeced and I believe that the whales are going to buy again. There are several assets at highs such as gold and the S&P 500, and that is because despite the rise in rates there is enough liquidity in the market that ends up going to assets that beat inflation.

Not sure but it is fun eating my popcorn and watching.  ;D ;D
Kidding I voted for "After April 1st 2024. But in 2024"

We're only 1 week away from the April 1st, and as of this moment, the price of Bitcoin is below $70,000 still. The thread has posted weeks ago though, and I wonder how it didn't gain some traction or at least some opinions for some here, but I voted after April 1st because I think the time when Bitcoin will reach or past the $80,000 price is after the Bitcoin halving event. Maybe a month or 2 after the halving event is the time when it will be reached.

Left seven days later before 1st April with your expectation bitcoin raise $80k, I doubt with your predicting come true because current bitcoin price still drop around $65k and need increasing up to $20% more for bitcoin raising $80k. In this week, bitcoin still not have good progress for returning back to the higher price, almost two weeks bitcoin keep stuck on lower price under $65k and difficult bounce back to higher price.
you need to make second prediction of bitcoin on the 1st April because I think its too huge expectation with bitcoin price still down although have several days left.

I picked before April 1st 2024
I think it will not happen within April 1st 2024. Because we are Seeing correction period for Bitcoin. After Bitcoin spot ETF approval we saw Bitcoin price hugee pumped and we saw new ATH $73k which was All time high price for Bitcoin history.

We know after 23 days Bitcoin halving will happen. I think after Bitcoin halving Bitcoin price will pump Again. And then Bitcoin price early hit $80k there has no doubt. So i think we have to wait till Bitcoin halving to see Bitcoin price at $80k.

Initially I predicted for a bitcoin price to hit 80k with 14 days entering March but I have to understand that there is serious fall back in bitcoin price making it too difficult for the price to cross $75k, this shows that we may hardly observed 80k not even in the first week of April since is the main halving month if I could guess correctly.

April 1st is just a few days away, and for the past several days, Bitcoin has been fluctuating between $68k and $69k.  I believe the $80k price is realistic and will occur after April 1st, which will be in the second quarter of the year (April to June), though it won't go beyond that.

When Bitcoin next rallies it is likely that Bitcoin will touch the $80k resistance level, but it will need a strong positive news catalyst for Bitcoin to sustain the rally towards $80k.  Positive developments such as institutional adoption regulatory clarification, or significant investment could give Bitcoin the momentum it needs to break the $80k barrier.  Bitcoin  It remains to be seen how Bitcoin will respond to the upcoming developments and whether it will achieve the $80k milestone in the next rally.

I really expect that it will come true before April 1, 2024. But it is likely to happen after April 1, it still needs time to increase again after we have big dump.

I personally predicted the price $80k will happen in the early of the next month, it may be in the first week or second week. But I don't think it will happen very soon before the 1st day of April.  :D

Potentially bullish rumours on the Morgan Stanley ($150 billion market cap investment bank)  filed with SEC to buy Bitcoin ETFs with 12 of their funds.
The speculation is that they will also allow Bitcoin spot ETFs to be traded on their platform, which potentially could have a decent impact on the price.
More details:

If true, this has the potential to tip the price over $75k.

Its likely we see the market get to $80k before the halving or something close to that, and if it doesn't appear as we expected, then we should be getting ready for that after the halving and the market to go beyond such, we are more likely to see the market close to $100,000 or above before the end of this year, a lot of people were already giving their own prediction on the possible rate bitcoin is expected to be at any point in time nd this is getting interested already because we are still on bullrun.

I still believe there will be a Bitcoin retracement soon since it has not happened yet. So, if the Bitcoin retracement does not occur before the halving date, it will occur after. However, the price will most certainly rise over $80,000, maybe to $100,000 or more. So, in my opinion, since we can't foresee the exact day, $80k will occur soon before or after the halving date.

I am not expecting it to be over 80k anytime soon, I think we will see the halving first and then we are going to end up with something that will get a lot better with time after the halving. So we should consider possibility that something like May, or during summer could be the possibility. I know that we had some good big increases in the price in the recent months, but we need to arrange something that will do better. We can't really make it work some other way, we just have to wait and all those increases can't keep happening back to back forever. So just wait for it and eventually it will get better.

Bitcoin will make new all time high soon, with he way the market has been performing these days, we may not have to doubt in the ability of this digital coin reaching its all time high this year and we may even have the $80,000 before the halving, this year bullrun is taking new dimension and we cannot predict how the market can perform on a consistent manner than we are having already i this bullrun, as we are gradually moving ahead to halving and another new all time high.

I think we'll either see a pullback and BTC dropping sub $50-$60k or we'll break the $80k before the halving.
I can't imagine price staying flat for over 20 days, and that's how long we have until the halving.

Bitcoin price dropping almost 20 days ago after reaching the new higher price on $73k, its very difficult to see bitcoin how break out new higher price and make us almost loss hope behind 21 days left for halving moment.
Although usually bitcoin up several months later after halving time but if bitcoin can't up to higher price has chance after halving drop drastically, its bad moment in the early of this month bitcoin success make new ath price but today bitcoin become as stable coins without get moment will up to higher price any more.

I think it is unlikely to see the price of Bitcoin dropping to $50k-$60k. The current price is above $70k and it seems to try growing again constantly although it is a bit slower than previously. As long as Bitcoin price can survive about $70k, I think it tends to jump to $80k than freefall to $50k-$60k. There is no matter to cause the huge drop because we are almost in the Bitcoin halving. People must be more enthusiastic to buy than selling their Bitcoin.

Cant be sure with that, we do still have that post halving period where everything could happen as always. It is really just that too hard for us to determine on what would actually happen.
There are really moments on which we do least expect for it to happen but it did happen and this do really shows on how unpredictable this market is. There's no way for us to tell
on where it would be going even on the next minute. Technicals and fundamentals are really that significant but it doesnt really give out that 100% accuracy when it comes to this matter.
So it would really be that on your own choice on how you would really be able to adapt yourself and make out adjustments accordingly.

As I said previously, crabbing at $70k levels for prolonged period of time was never an option. We had to see a further rally and test $75k resistance region or have an awaited by many correction.
I wouldn't quite call the recent flash crash a correction quite yet though, as it could turn out to be a small bump on the way up, but we shall see some more action in the days to come.
There is/will be some selling pressure from the UK market, as the tax year ends on 5th April and there will be a reduction in the capital gains allowance from current £8,000 to £3,000 from 6th April. It shouldn't have any major impact though.

Honestly, its not making the strides that I expected it to do, which is fine sometimes these things happens. I get that we are not going higher, and reaching 65k did made some people feel like that was a bad move, and we are sad to see it go down. But that is the market, sometimes it goes up, sometimes it goes down and we just need to learn to live with it. I hope that it will get better, I hope that we can see it go 80k soon. I expected it to go up soon, we are maybe having a drawback and then we could skyrocket a lot. I am not saying that will happen, I am just saying that is one of the possibilities.

Nothing is impossible, if there is bad news that makes many traders panic and the whale also wants to withdraw profits then it is certain that the whale will try to take advantage of the news circulating by selling bitcoin on a very large scale. An incident like this happened at the end of 2021.

It turns out that Bitcoin has not succeeded in achieving all of that. And now, in fact, the conditions are going down first. The Bitcoin halving has occurred, and the effect on the market has been quite pronounced, but it's not very significant. At least, we can see a temporary green candle in the price of Bitcoin, which is also followed by several altcoins which recently experienced quite significant price drops.

This time, the price of Bitcoin after the halving has just touched around $64k or maybe up to $66k. However, will it really return to $70k this week? If you want to reach $80k, it seems like it will still take time. Yes, we just hope that it will at least increase first, even if it's not very significant.

And of course, there will be another price drop, the market correction will never end. So, let's just prepare for the next price retest.

It is very unlikely that Bitcoin price will be 70 to 80k in April, as you can see from past history that Bitcoin price is very low when halving takes place.  And you can notice more by looking at the transaction history, this time the maximum number of transactions has increased where you can be sure by looking at the mempool history. Therefore Bitcoin halving is held at high price due to which Bitcoin price is very unlikely to increase at present. But in 2025 the price of Bitcoin will reach its highest level as the bull market approaches.

There is nothing impossible about cryptocurrency price movements, all cryptocurrency price movements can happen. Even though we have done a good analysis, when there is news circulating in several media, whales will exploit it as best as possible to make a profit.

It's like our very predictions of bitcoin reaching $80k in April are not coming to pass again as we are a few days away from April, to entering May soon.

As we all know, nothing is possible in crypto, the $80k might come into play in May. That doesn't mean majority will be selling at that price or will stop them from applying the DCA method of bitcoin

It probably won't be reached in April, but this year there may still be a chance to reach ATH at $80. Hopefully there will always be good news that can trigger investors to buy very large amounts of bitcoin, because so far the price of bitcoin will rise when demand in the market increases.

I don't expect bitcoin rise above this level because there are some history is trying to follow even though we achieved another ATH before halving doesn't mean that we must see it 80k before next or this year ends, although I know that anything is possible in the market but doesn't mean it would break out so easily. The previous 73k plus was a result of ETF effects and has proven to break record even as that I am trying to sense that it wanna correct it back. Bitcoin would touches 48k before we could see new ATH.

The news always has a big role to determine the increase or decrease of the crypto prices. It is not surprising if the news can pump or dump the price hardly in crypto market. Bitcoin has increased again to $63k recently after it dropped to $56k few days ago. I think there should be good news after the bad news from US yesterday. At that time, I have no hope for $80k, I think it is great if it returns to $70k. It seems possible but won't happen in the near future.

Currently the price of bitcoin is still hovering around $64k, it seems very difficult for the price to increase to the figure that many people expect. There has to be good news that can trigger whales to buy bitcoin.
