I do not think that you will invest in MSTR in the long term, but the average investment period is between 3 years and 5 years, and at the present time you will sell it at the end of the bear market and invest the profits by buying more Bitcoin. Therefore, for a person has the ability to access more than one asset and instead of buying altcoins, buy shares of these bitcoin proxy compaines may be a good option.
- All I can say is that I trust Bitcoin more because I'm not sure whether MSTR will be able to sustain its growth in the long run or not, any bad news about the company and you will see a decline in its price for sure, and at the end of the day, it's a centralized entity.
1. Do you choose to invest in BTC or MSTR? Why?I want to invest in Bitcoin I don't want to invest in MicroStrategy MSTR. Because there is Bitcoin ETF and I got a lot of success investing here. I know nothing about MicroStrategy MSTR but know a lot about Bitcoin. As I don't know about MicroStrategy MSTR so don't know if MicroStrategy MSTR can generate better returns than BTC but I know about Bitcoin Bitcoin can generate very good returns and make a person rich very fast. I know about bitcoin bitcoin is very safe for me I don't know about MicroStrategy MSTR may not be very safe for me. Here I give my own opinion.
2. Will MSTR continue to generate better returns than BTC?
3. Is an investment in MSTR safer than an investment in BTC?
Do you choose to invest in BTC or MSTR? Why?If I invest in bitcoin, I have full control of my investment. If I invest in MSTR, I do not have full control of my investment. I will prefer to invest in bitcoin.
Will MSTR continue to generate better returns than BTC?Who cares. Bitcoin is safer for me because I have the complete control and no one on earth can compromise my bitcoin wallet.
Op MicroStrategy [MSTR] is a centralized company that also invest in bitcoin and Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency which one can use to buy and sell and also invest in it. So if I am to invest in MicroStrategy company then I am to work for him and not to invest for myself unless I am a shareholder of the company. Therefore if it is for investment then I will invest in bitcoin and not in MicroStrategy (MSTR).I agree with you. Bitcoin is decentralized, which makes it safer, and easy to access. But MicroStrategy is centralized and anything can happen to the company tomorrow. If it happens that I should invest in a centralized way on bitcoin, I will prefer the ETF than MicroStrategy.
BTC Spot ETF is having a huge impact on BTC price, it is even said to be the reason why BTC has created a new ATH before Halving - something that has never happened in the past. Besides, Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy company is also extremely famous for its BTC accumulation strategy and is racing against BlackRock in terms of the amount of BTC held [1, 2]. We can say that Saylor is the most famous diamond hands in the global crypto community at this time, even more famous than the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele.
Saylor has previously made clear the differences between investing in MicroStrategy's MSTR stock and a BTC Spot ETF, and of course Saylor points out the advantages of MSTR that a BTC Spot ETF cannot have [3]. We still have one more question: between MSTR, a stock with most of its value backed by the number of BTC held in reserve, and BTC itself, which is the better investment?
- In terms of profit: Since MicroStrategy started investing in BTC in August 2020, MSTR has increased by more than 1220%, while BTC has only increased by about 500%. Thus, the data shows that investing in MSTR generates more profit than investing in BTC, because MicroStrategy allows investors to leverage their investment with debt, which allows MicroStrategy to amplify its gains from BTC's price appreciation.
(https://www.tradingview.com/x/TydXZxGB/)- In terms of credibility: Some people believe that MicroStrategy is more credible than Bitcoin because MicroStrategy is a company with a proven track record. Therefore, investors in MicroStrategy are not just investing in BTC, they are also investing in the expertise and experience of MicroStrategy's management team [4]. I disagree with this view. The Bitcoin network is decentralized and has existed for more than a decade. It is not dependent on any individual, organization, or government. I trust the Bitcoin network more than a public company.
So, even though MSTR could generate higher returns, I will still continue to self-custody my BTC instead of investing in MicroStrategy's MSTR and then putting my faith in Michael Saylor's decisions. And even though Michael Saylor has asserted that MicroStrategy will never sell BTC [5], I think the question is only "when" and not "if".
- When will Michael Saylor and MicroStrategy sell BTC? (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=317963.0)

Bitcoin is really a great project and good investment. Bitcoin has a huge network effect, and it safe to invest in the crypto space.i would rather invest in BTC than MSTR.Exactly, with the advantages that Bitcoin has, the influence of the bitcoin supply is very limited and ultimately provides extraordinary price movements so that it provides a lot of profit for those who still have very large amounts of bitcoin.
So, even though MSTR could generate higher returns, I will still continue to self-custody my BTC instead of investing in MicroStrategy's MSTR and then putting my faith in Michael Saylor's decisions. And even though Michael Saylor has asserted that MicroStrategy will never sell BTC [5], I think the question is only "when" and not "if".I'm not based in the US so I can't invest in MSTR, but it's really attractive if chosen based on profit performance.

1. I will choose BTC because I am not familiar with the US stock market. Holding BTC in my account makes me feel more comfortable being in control of my assets.

Personally I am invested in bitcoin, although if I had considerably more money I wouldn't mind having a small percentage in MSTR shares, as it is like adding a potential risk that also gives you a higher potential return. These things always have to be done with a small percentage of your portfolio, ideally no more than 5%, and that's why I say I could do it at some point. When you choose Bitcoin as a place to invest then it is the right choice, so far Bitcoin has provided a lot of profit for those who buy Bitcoin at a cheap price. Imagine if you knew in 2010 that Bitcoin would become this expensive then at that time you will buy very large amounts of bitcoin.
As long as I am capable of holding onto my Bitcoin safely and securely, I don't need to invest in MSTR because it is just better that you hold onto your asset by yourself with the determination not to sell unless you have accumulated the amount of profit you desire.Currently, thanks to financial leverage, we see MSTR generating higher returns than BTC, I believe this will still be true in the 2024-2025 uptrend. Traditional investors may be attracted to this, while experienced crypto investors will choose BTC for its security and self-custody capabilities.
If an individual invests in MSTR for a certain amount, I think they will still have the amount of profit that is equal to their capital if they invest in Bitcoin and hold until the price has surged to the same price that MSTR would sell their holdings.
It depends on the individual's ability to store their assets in such a way that they will not fall victim to hacks or thefts that can result in the loss of funds. Apart from that, investing and having your Bitcoin in your custody is the best.
