Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Who will be the new king
« on: October 14, 2018, 05:37:46 PM »
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
I think it could happen that bitcoin and ethereum will no longer to be a king because as days goes by there is a new coin that can replace bitcoin.

The team of cryptocurrency project TRON (TRX) has reportedly partnered with China's largest Internet search provider Baidu. Crypto market news service Coinness has claimed this in a tweet Thursday, Oct. 11, citing its private correspondence with TRON’s team.

Neither TRON nor Baidu have been able to confirm the partnership to Cointelegraph as of press time.

Without specifying the details of the partnership, Coinness has claimed that the deal between TRON and China’s Internet giant Baidu will be “officially” revealed by the cloud storage service Baidu Cloud “next week.”

While Coinness claims that TRON has exclusively confirmed the partnership in private correspondence with it, the crypto platform itself has not yet officially announced any details of the partnership or even the identity of its new business partner.

TRON’s CEO Justin Sun has recently hinted on Twitter at a secret partnership with an unnamed “industry giant” that is valued at “tens of billions of dollars.” In his Tweet, posted Friday, Oct. 12, Sun has similarly provided little information:

Mga paraan ko para malaman kung scam ang project ay sa mga developers at team dahil pag nag research ka ng mabuti makikita mo talaga ang tunay na detalye ng tao baka ito ay nagpapanggap lng at pangala tingnan mabuti ang white paper ng project kng may kabuluhan ito or wala.
Oo, kabayan, ang daming mga projects ngayon na pinifake nila ang kanilang team, para maka akit ng mga investors.

Sorting Box / Re: Mistakes that make people poor in crypto
« on: October 14, 2018, 07:55:34 AM »
Impatience is one of the trending factors that lead to losses in crypto. Due to impatience, many crypto investors sell their valuable coins at cheap prices and regret later when the market rises. It is always good to stay calm and wait patiently especially when the market goes down.
Yeah you're right, impatience is one of our biggest enemy in comes in trading or holding coins. We have to patience in order to avoid losses from out investment.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Will banks always be against crypto?
« on: October 14, 2018, 07:00:22 AM »
With the increase trend of the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, the attention and interest of the people are gradually drawing to crypto. This will definitely lead the banks with no choice than to integrate Blockchain into their services in order to continue winning the interest of the people.
If banks against in crypto they have no choice, they have to adopt it since this is the future of money.

Cryptocurrency discussions / will decentralised exchanges be the future ?
« on: October 13, 2018, 06:00:32 PM »
Have been searching for decentralised exchanges to trade on for security reasons after watching Andreas M. Antonopoulos -
.
So far the Bitshares DEX has been the most liquid and what seems as truly p2p but other Ethereum based dexs are potentially good also. Will DEXs really be the future ? Or will centralised exchanges slowly become decentralised.

Cryptocurrency discussions / More people More volatility
« on: October 13, 2018, 05:49:10 PM »
Lets assume bitcoin makes it through all the barriers and survives the rules and regulations of the governments and yet is decentralized.
It is widely adopted and many people have started to use it. Bitcoin has grown to thousands/millions of dollars in price causing huge volatility.

If there are so many people using it on a daily basis, won't the volatility cause huge fluctuations in it's price ?
If bitcoin has such huge volatility how will it be able to sustain it's price ? The fluctuations in price will cause problems to merchants.
So according to what I think, if there is not a solution to volatility then BTC cannot be used on a regular basis for payments in various places of the world.

Eg: One day I go and check a guitar's price about $100 and then a week later I go to purchase it just to notice that I would have to pay more BTC this time just because of the drop in bitcoin's price.

Conclusions from the comments

Conclusion 1 : More people is not equal to more volatility but more active traders = more volatility
Conclusion 2 : More people involved in bitcoin will mean that the supply of BTC will be well spread among each other and hence volatility will decrease.

Thanks for taking part in the discussion.
