How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
-
Every one love money. First you Ask to join Free Altcointalk and Bitcointalk, put signature and ask them to write two post daily.
-
Advise them free airdrop and bounty.
-
Best way was show them proofs.$$$
-
you have to slowly grow interest in them
-
I do not convince them. I would rather educate them if they get curious about crypto.
-
That is quite a difficult thing. People are reluctant chage from the tradition system. This was observed in early 90's when the business started convert in to web based systems. Many people did not want to switch. But eventually it happen.
-
I give example of limited edition coins, in world only 17 mil of coins, and all want them because they are decentralized .
-
It is hard to convince them. The best way is to get them curious of what you are doing.
-
Getting them to buy or trade popular cryptos like BTC or ETH might be difficult. But possibly easier to convince them to invest in ICOs by legitimate companies, for example UK's Green Running who recently launched VLUX - http://vlux.io/ (http://vlux.io/)
-
Give them food's and drinks that enough to supply their needs for one month. Then during those days try to convince them through explaining what is the world now and what's new in the world? Possible it will shake them

How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
It is very hard but somehow my parents got it, it really depend what you make to earn in this world, I explained they that I do some task and receive some coins that I can exchange with money, simple as that.

Show your profit from crypto this is a convincing proof because people are being normal of not believing something if their is no actual or physical evidence.
-
I will never convince anyone to do this, because the person himself has to make a decision in this matter. Crypto-currencies are risky and it is better not to impose your opinion on relatives, and then you can remain guilty.
-
I tried my sister to be part of it and showing her the great things from it but she gives no interest on it. She is not against to what I am doing but I can't convince her.
-
Show them how cryptos are revolutionizing the world. Be a testimony to them by showing them proofed your earnings. I believe if you do these two things they'd get interested.
-
this is a good question, I invited many acquaintances to earn money on this but for them it seemed very difficult ;D
-
Advise them free airdrop and bounty.
I agree mate , Advise them free airdrop and bounty. By participating in bounty campaign and airdrop Old fashioned familiy will get knowledge about crypto and get tokens.
-
Best way was show them proofs.$$$
Nice one there, I absolutely agree with that mate. Eventually , they may join in crypto world mostly now that everyone really need money and if they have gadgets to be use in crypto world.
-
Tell them to start filling airdrops. Direct them to the market place and show them how valued the King of coins(BTC) is worth. Encourage them they can earn BTC in two months or three if they work hard.
-
When you want to explain something to someone, then do it in a language they understand, understandable terms and concepts for them. You can try to buy something in the online store for cryptocurrency to show the availability of the value of the cryptocurrency. Or you can exchange crypto for cash and show them the entire exchange process, it will be a good example for them to start treating seriously cryptocurrencies.

How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
Well, this will be very difficult. Old fashioned people usually don't really trust and like new technologies which kinda contradict their previous way of doing things.
-
Best way to get any family to invest in crypto is to give them some for free. That way they have an interest in following how it is performing. It doesn't have to be much, just enough for them to see a growth in value. Any decisions they make need to be well thought out on their own terms. Don't push too hard though, you don't want them coming back to you crying if they lose everything after you convinced them to invest.
-
By showing my profits of investing in crypto to them and explaining the benefits of investing in crypto, maybe they would be interested in investing in crypto.
-
How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
I think they can join bounty campaing or airdrop , get knowledge about crypto currency in this forum or bitcointalk forum.
-
Even if you convince your family to join in crypto world if they are not interested then they will not learn and you only wasting your time, I tried to educate my families and taught them how to make money in crypto but they still not understood because they not much interested in crypto.
-
How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
One strategy to convince them is to show them what are your achievements with crypto. Although we cannot convince everyone in your family to join crypto. you must make an assurance that you will guide them all throughout the learning process. The others might lose interest while on the process of learning because they might be overwhelmed with the information.
-
It may take a long time to introduce crypto to the parents. they will be confused how crypto can be used to earn money.
-
How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
I don't understand why? Why waste your time? If someone wants, he does.
Being rich or poor is not destiny. It is a choice, a decision.
-
And no one needs to convince anyone! Why do you need it? It's an extra waste of energy and nerves, it's better to sit down and write an article about some kind of promising project. Everyone does what he likes, but when a person searches for a new hobby and earnings and gets into the crypt world, then it will be difficult to stop him. 8)
-
No, because they do not believe in it. When I start telling them about it, they just do not believe me. In evidence, I show them the money that they earned on bounty campaigns, but they still do not believe it.
-
I don't think it's necessary to force it because relatives and families also have their own activities.
I am always open to people who want to learn cryptocurrency and if they don't like cryptocurrency then I also don't force them to do it.
-
It is difficult to convince someone to join the crypto business, it is better they understand it themselves and decide to join. Older people who are not technology inclined will find it difficult to understand how the technology of crypto works.
-
display them how cryptos are revolutionizing the world. Be a sworn statement to them with the aid of displaying them proofed your profits. I consider if you do those matters they'd get fascinated.
-
It's really so difficult , they don't care about the technology and don't believe in it
-
Really, it's too difficult for me to convience my grand parents because they're old fashioned and they only think that study is the only way to success in life. Still i'm not able to convience her, but my parents understand the value of crypto and supporting me! So i think, after 2-3 years and when goes popular in all over world and everyone talks about crypto then they understand (grandparents) the value of crypto.

How do you convince family and friends to get started in the world of crypto, especially if they're so old fashioned?
So, if you already succeed to convinced them to join the world of crypto, how do you answer their questions about the market situation right now? You know, the never ending red market. I believe if they join, they loose some money now, right?
-
I tell them slowly, first I introduce Bitcoin to them and the results are not as easy as expected. But I will continue to introduce crypto to my family because I think the crypto world today is a common thing that everyone must know.
