Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your experience with gambling?
« Last post by Rruchi man on Today at 02:17:36 PM »
I did not have a good time while gambling. It was full of losses. This made me quit gambling some years ago.
You are an example of one of the few individuals who can quit gambling. Quitting gambling is not easy for many gamblers because if a survey is carried out to find out the experience of gamblers in general, we will have more gamblers who claim to have had a negative experience gambling than gamblers with a positive experience, but still, the number of gamblers is not reducing. That is proof that some gamblers who have had negative experiences with gambling have still not been able to stop themselves from continuing to gamble.

No, bro, because I had an experience with my friend whose winnings were never paid by the casino, in fact my friend was kicked out and was never able to access his gambling account.

I forget the name of the site my friend played on, but I remember he played on one of the local sites. That's where the casino's reputation really determines whether they are trusted enough or not. Because just imagine when we win big but the casino doesn't want to pay and even kicks us, even though we never did anything wrong.
This is should always be mindful of the casinos they choose to use and also very important to first of all read all the casino's terms and conditions before signing up, because maybe he may have broken a rule without even knowing it which resulted to him being kicked out.
But then again, some casinos can be very manipulative, even if your friend violated a rule, they had to wait until he made a significant win before taking actions on him which is very bad.

People should just be very careful with the casinos they get involved with, it's should at least be a trusted and reputable casino and not just some random casino that offers mouthwatering bonuses and rewards.
So that's it, if we violate the terms and conditions in their rules, why don't they take action from the start? why do they have to first wait until we win a big win before they kick us?

And after I found out that my friend never seemed to violate any terms and conditions. He played normally, registered, then made a deposit then played as usual. and previously he also made withdrawals with small amounts and it was safe.
Most of these casinos do not really have the funds and resources to pay up their winnings, some are already going bankrupt, so when people win huge amount of money, they seek for excuses to make sure they avoid paying your winnings.

It's like a casino I was using a certain time, once in a while, they'd always reward their customers with a free bet coupon, I've been winning a free bet coupon for a while but they were often little amount of money, and sometimes when I play with the free bet coupon, I'd lose and sometimes I'd win, have never had issues redeeming my free bets or my winnings from the free bets because whenever I won, they'd always pay my winnings in full.

But one day I got a free bet coupon of about $200, i used the $200 to stake a bet and won over $3000, it was indeed my lucky day, or so I thought.
I tried making a withdrawal, but instead of paying my winning in full just like before, they slashed the payment into 3, and only paid $1000, I got furious and tried contacting them, and they told me that winnings from free bets are often slashed in 3.
Funny enough, this was the first time I experienced this in my history of using the free bet coupon.

Please can you enlighten me more on This, how many Blockchain does this Mixers support? I've come across this before now, I couldn't make out what it means. This is the first time I'm paying full attention to it. I'll be waiting for your response.

This is how the SEC have been operating for sometime now, they now exceed their legal powers because they wield so much of it. They form their own interepretation in the way it suits them and implement policies that don't favor crypto services and people who use crypto.

Forum related / Re: No option to self moderate threads here?
« Last post by NotATether on Today at 02:10:40 PM »
really there is a recycle bin in this forum ? this means post deletion is also not necessary here because we cannot completely hide anything from this forum lol.
but self moderated thread is also something that the forum may not be concern of because of this recycle bin feature .

Simple Machines Forum software doesn't have recycle bins. They have a trash can for deleted topics, but that is usually only visible to administrators.

Anyway, why would you guys need to self-moderate a topic? That is only needed if you have tolls running amok on the forum who you don't want replying to your posts. I haven't seen any here so far.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ordinals and inscriptions
« Last post by NotATether on Today at 02:06:21 PM »
Maybe I'm wrong and someone should correct me, but as far as I read about it on BTT, the developers have the possibility to remove ordinals from the game, but apparently part of the crypto community thinks that this would be some form of censorship. Honestly, it's stupid for me to allow such things, because the biggest damage is suffered by ordinary users who practically can't use BTC for on-chain microtransactions because someone else is usurping the blockchain with something that shouldn't be there.

That is correct.

The only good thing coming out from all this is that it appears that we have finally solved that trilemma that Paul Sztorc was talking about a few years ago (I cannot find the original article anymore, but if you type "bitcoin trilemma" you will get a bunch of copycat results from other websites). Now miners have no excuse to not work with us to solve the other, more important problems like the Attack on Privacy.

Gambling discussion / Re: Karate Combat
« Last post by Dr.Bitcoin_Strange on Today at 02:04:49 PM »
Karate combat is one of my best and favourite movies so far. It is thrilling, fun and entertaining to go by.  Although I have watched karate movies years back while growing up as a kid then but the game is what I have not really involved myself in of lately. I think this game would be very much interesting because casinos with karate games are someworth going to be the next line of activities on daily basis. If it gains traction in the casino, I believe that would be the next game gamblers would likely get themselves engaged with while gambling.

Please I started with a movie illustration because I loved watching karate movies while growing up as a child and seeing such post here as it regards casino made me recalled my past before giving my own opinion about it. Do not miss quote me but try to understand my point.
I've always loved martial art or any sports that involves fighting, but I've not really had the opportunity to bet on them.
Although I'm only conversant with boxing and kickboxing, karate combat? I don't think I've witnessed one before.
I bet it'll be really thrilling to witness a combination of martial art and gaming, it sure is going to be quite a thrilling experience for gamblers.

Just imagine if karate games were to become popular in casinos, it'd definitely attract a new demographic of gamblers who look forward to sports activities that are packed with a load of action in it.
