I don't understand Altcoins trading because they don't have a clear set-up and are illiqiud mostly at times.
Altcoins trading is highly risky and I wouldn't teach people about that.

Buy at the dips sell at the highs however one need to follow the news channel, general mood of the public and bitcoin price … And a bit of intuition as well

For me i suggest that always choose the top ranked Altcoins like Ethereum, Ripple and EOS. Its good to invest in the low ranked Altcoins too because they are the cheapest to purchase but ensure that you will review their projects well that their commodities are really feasible to the masses to attract more people to invest.

Based on my experience when i trading alternatives coins there are some step of trading alternatives coins

1. Learn more about the analysis technical to find the trend of price, is it up trend or down trend.
2. Always choose the alternatives coins which has up trend to be traded on the market.
3. We must manage our money in trading activity, always use 20% of funds for trading.
4. Don't be greedy when the target of profit has been reached takes it.

Those are some my experience on trading alternatives coins.

Now this is indeed the price of coins in Altcoin. and this is very unpleasant. For me it's better to buy coins that have the highest ranking in Altcoin, such as Ethereum, Ripple and EOS. Because the Coins are currently still low prices, and I'm sure coins like Ethereum will increase and stabilize later.

my advice if you want to start trading crypto, look for new coins that will enter the market, usually the price is low. after that, buy a certain amount and sell when many have bought the coin. I often do it and I get a lot of profits.
