Airdrops and give aways are used as a markettig campaign. Unless you want to spent lot of money for traditional means of marketting and building a community these bounties will be stopped. Besides the value in Fiat is very small for those airdrops and bounty. So i guess it will not stop

Air drops are free. So i guess it is the most profitable .But the amount of token you can receive is limited . On the other hand if you invest in a good ICO getting x5 to x10 is very easy.

That is quite a difficult thing. People are reluctant chage from the tradition system. This was observed in early 90's when the business started convert in to web based systems. Many people did not want to switch. But eventually it happen.

I think what really matters is that the power of the blockchain. It is not all about anaonymity any more. I think at some stage the anonity must be controlled as the new system must be regulated.That is why the legal system was created in the first place. But as any asset exchange cryto exchanges also need to be regualted to safe guard the small investors. Otherwise all the larger investors will grab the money from small investors. this happen in all most every sector.

The answer to your question depends on your own view in crypto. If you are trader it is better for you to select a high volatile  coin.  Which mean a coin/token hasn't reach its potential and probable mid cap or law cap coin. (Most coins rand below 200 or so). If you are looking for acoin/token which is technology sound and robust then you must take a look at the code and the team
If you are investor with low risk i'd suggest to buy some stable products and wait.
Personally i diversify my portfolio with all three ranges
