Title: Most Anticipated Crypto event of April
Post by: Ambatman on April 03, 2024, 11:43:57 AM

This link  (https://cryptoadventure.com/aprils-most-anticipated-crypto-events-revealed-heres-what-in-the-store/)shows news that would play effects on the direction cryptocurrency would head this month. There are interesting news among but the one am more curious about is The Halving and the CPI data for March which would be released on the tenth of April.

What are your speculations of the CPI data and it's effect on the market ? My personal thoughts using my country as a case study is that interest rate would remain same, cause prices of goods here was relatively stable compare to February.

Would the upcoming halving follow the trend of buying the rumor and selling the news? Is a correction coming before we can see 6 digits price for Bitcoin?

Share your thoughts and give reason why you think so. Your answers could be an advice for me and others who would be interested. Seeing others perspective before making decisions helps in mitigating mistakes.
Contributions would be appreciated.

With what the articles says, for me the most anticipated event will still be the halving as we all know that this is the catalyst for the eventual bull run this year and the next. All others mentioned like CPI and CZ sentencing will not bring any significant effect. And we all know that when we are in a bull-run, no one can stop it even if this so called news are going to be negative, the market will not be shaken. Effect might be felt, but after the dust settles, everything will be back to normal and investors pushing the price even higher. So I wouldn't be bothered by those other news to be honest with you.

Halving for sure will be the biggest catalyst for the further price upwards of Bitcoin and even many alts in the market. We have already factored in the approval of ETFs for Bitcoin though am sure that if ETFs for ETH will also come into reality then it can be another force to reckon with as both BTC and ETH can be symbiotically affecting each other. I am not so particular on CPI as its effect will not actually last long and since there is nothing dramatic to be expected with the next release of data for sure this will be a non-event for the crypto market. Now, we can summarize the situation so far by looking at ETFs in the past months and halving coming in this month as the two big impetus for the continuing demand of Bitcoin coming from institutions and retail investors as well...and am sure this can be the remaining sentiment for 2024 and will go as far as 2025...though of course there will some dips along the way which is kind of healthy for the market and will be giving us good opportunity to ride on the market and make some profits along the way.

I believe that the event that bitcoiners are waiting for is the halving, which even if it is not going to have overnight effects, it is an eagerly awaited event. The CPI, meh, usually affects the rate policy and this has effects on the markets in general, but I think that whatever happens, with elections in the US in sight, we should not worry too much.

The halving will happen in less than 2 weeks, and I see a correction could still occur in the next 12 days... a few days ago it fell almost 8% to the level of $65k but now it has risen again to the level of $67k, I assume BTC prices will not fall below $60k again in the next 1 year (fingers crossed).

Until now, I think there are still many people who are interested in continuing to hold because the halving won't be long. Looking at the price graph of the previous halving, everyone definitely doesn't want to miss the moment... so I think Bitcoin is currently strong enough to quickly reach 6 digits before Christmas 2024 arrives. Even though it only relies on historical data.

Yes, although there is the Bitcoin Spot ETF it is still the block halving that will be impetus for a bull run and it will be regardless of what biggest positive event (Bitcoin and Ethereum Spot ETF), or last halving negative event (the pandemic). So experience wise, everything is rest on the shoulder of the halving. And it's the retail that is going to push for the rise after that event. It could be very slow, but once we garnered enough drive then we will go on a parabolic rise with minor dips along the way. Looking at year 2020, the last block halving year, we have 8 months of increased, and the last quarter with a huge jump with almost +50%

Every news and discussion is pointing to the coming halving, we are very positive and bullish about this coming but there's a line of that article that I don't like and subject for debate, and this

Quote
Renowned analyst Michaël van de Poppe believes that this event could trigger a surge in altcoin prices, stating, “BTC could lose its dominance after Halving.” Moreover, many analysts have also previously suggested that an altcoin and memecoin era will soon take over. This prediction seems to be coming true, because Bitcoin has showing exceptionally high volatility, even crossing Ether, before halving event.

Are we going to believe that meme coin will soon take over and Bitcoin will lose its grip on the market, I always believe that the meme coin trend will soon be over and many investors are losing a lot on these meme coins that have been coming up, I know that a lot of altcoins are doing good in the market but will it come to the point that they will beat the father of Cryptocurrency.

Halving??? It's in two weeks and we are going to have one of the biggest things in all of crypto, whenever there is a halving that becomes the most anticipated thing in crypto for years before and afterwards. We still remember the 2020 halving because the 2021 bull run happened afterwards and everyone got super excited about it. We have gone from 4-5k at the bottom to near 70k levels after the halving. Anyone who says anything else is the most anticipated thing will be lying, there is absolutely nothing else in the world right now that is bigger or more important than that, not for this month at least.

Unlike previously both the CPI data and the May 1st meeting will be a bit of a non-event!

We kind of know where inflation is going:
https://www.clevelandfed.org/indicators-and-data/inflation-nowcasting
there is nothing out of the ordinary that can change that, the movement in oil price is just too low to cause anything, not while gas is going down and there are still one and half months till the real start of driving season.
Taking this into account probably the inflation will be just a bit over what was expected last month, there wouldn't have been any cut whatsoever anyhow, and there is not even worth discussing a hike, so not much will happen.

All eyes are on the late summer /autumn period, so it will be times a bit with the average after halving time crypto bull think the next run will start.
