I think it is better to buy during ICO because you can get bonuses when you buy the tokens during that time.

It is fair token or ico coins to decline after there in the market. it is because the investor sells the bonus that can after the purchase in the ico period. before investing in ico project you better see the prospect of the project.

agree,the reason that they are afraid and may have less capital so worried about it.now take the ICO which is very different but has a better developer team than the others would be fore when the sale of ICO to enter the market price will rise high it even happened in many ICO.

Here you can not make an unambiguous decision. Investors can buy tokens during the ICO with a 50 percent discount. However, if the project is fraudulent, they will lose their money. Also, they can buy them no longer the stock exchange after their price decently falls after the bidding and expect it to rise in a few months or depending on the plans of this project. However, many people buy tokens at ICO at a discount and immediately sell them to non-stock exchange in the early days, while receiving almost double profits and least at the same time at risk.

there are two possibilities, if the ICO is good then choose the token when the ICO is due to a lot of bonuses, what else is pre-ICO.
but if the Exchange can also make you a little safe, especially the top 50 in coinmarketcap.

You have a point here, and i will like to point out that buying coin/token during ICOs may not make any defferenc, this is because most coins have no real economic value, and this type of projects becomes
abandon project or dump coin/token even at exchange.
I think i will prefer buying on various exchange to see how the coins/tokens will perform in the market, at least for the short term period.

For profit, investing in ICO is better, but you need to do research for the ICO you will buy, because ICO risk is much higher than buying in the crypto market.

Even to me I don't really like buying ICO tokens or coins because sometimes the expected price not really happening for example, I bought a token or coins at price of $0.002 per tokens or coins then after the ICO the price on market is only around or less than $0.002.

There is a bigger profit when you buy token on the ICO, some projects gives 100% bonus when it still in pre sale state. Paying project is very profitable if you have participated in it. Some big investors are preferring to invest in ico rather than trading in exchange. ICO is assure profit because they give bonuses in purchases. While exchange is charging every transaction made to purchase every coin.

I personally prefer during ICO than exchange. I think It is more profitable. It is my opinion.

Depends on the good or bad of the ico project. if you are sure of the project that you choose then you better buy the time when ico. if you are not sure you can wait for the project to be listed on the exchange.

Generally I prefer buy during PRe-ICO or private sale when I can because of generous bonuses compared to ICO price.

It is regretful to buy during ICO stage if the token dump more than ICO price when listed in exchange. ICO stage and exchange stage is belong in the word of taking the risk. That is the reality that I think depends on what project and who managed the implemented plans.

Buying tokens form ICO is so risky because of many scam ICO lurking in the market. Although its very profitable in ICO but its not 100% that you can have gain a big profit in the end. Its better to buy coins which is already in the market.

I personally prefer buy tokens dureing exchange. Because I dont like risk during ICO, many ICOs fails.

I usually buy tokens in the exchange than buying in ICO because mostly the price of tokens once it is listed in exchanges will drops rapidly causing many investors lost their profit and even losing their investment capital and aside from that there are so many scammed project that want to stole our money.

I think that depends on the prospect of the ICO project that has joined. If the prospect of the project promises with a good concept, many investors will hold the token/coin longer. I think the low price that has been marketed is balanced with the bonus that investors get when buying during ICO. That difference is if investors buy coins in exchange, investors do not get additional and only buy coins based on prices at that time. So i think it's better to buy coin during ICO.

I think in exchange is the most appropriate to buy tokens. During ICO the token price was more expensive than when hit the exchange. Bounty hunters are the reason why the price went into super dump.

Few quarters ago, I would suggest to buy during ICO to get extra bonuses. Today I would suggest to buy after ICO, when the price is 2-10 times lowers than it was in ICO.

Majority of tokens share the same fate of drops as bitcoin did not yet in full recovery. As of now it is much better to buy in exchange than in ICO.

Buy in ICO is the best one because during ICO there are more opportunities that were given to every investors. In exchange doesn't have any bonus except if the token dump to the bottomless price.

Sometimes investors like to buy tokens during ICO stage if they found out the very low allocation in bounty while the project allocation is great. This could be mean that it is depends on the project allocation.

The ICO's nowadays is too bad as per noticed most ICO's token value after the token sale and get listed on exchange is lower price than the investors bought during the ICO period.
Lots of project succeed and reached hardcap during ICO but the price in exchange is too low which is not worth it for every investors, they lost their investment thru paper value and need to wait for long time to gain profits if luckily the token will raise higher than the ICO price but most of it took so long before it happened.
The reason why people or investors are now not buying on ICO's and prefer to buy in exchange unless the project is real with good background and usage of the product.

I think we must pay attention to various aspects before we make the decision to buy an ICO. If that is possible, you can buy it, but one day don't sell at a price below the ICO price. Because obviously it will be a loss, you should choose the right time I made the decision.

After seeing the progress of the token that has finished the ICO period and listing on the market. It's better to buy it in exchange, because after listing usually the token will drop past the price of the ICO itself. So we can buy at a lower price than the ICO price.

its better to buy during ICO cause you can recieve bonuses and discounts. some ICO are offering 30% discount and a huge bonus. so i prefer to buy during ICO than in the exchange.
