I think there are no special formula or perimeter to actually determine whether ICOs are scam or not. Some ICOs will come with very good White paper, best team, good media coverage and published on good rating wedsites, but end up been scam ICOs; while many will present not too fancied white papers plus little and unknown team, little media awareness, has few rating, but come out useful to the whole word. I suggest you do a normal research on any ICOs of your interest and invest or participate on some bounties earn some coin/token. Some time business could a pool of risks and or, defind as a pool risks. Thanks

You definitely have to do your own research as no one is better to protect your money otherwise than yourself.

One of the few key factors that you can spot a scam is by looking at
- the dev team. Scam projects may not show any faces of the team at all. Or even if they do, they will not give any more links to verify the picture in the website is the real team. Check out if the dev team do also post on their respective social platform about their involvement in the project.
- look out for over promising project. if an ico tell you that you can earn 100% within 3 months, turn away and walk off. If they can do it, they wont even need you. They can do it themselves and within 2 years, they can already became the richest man in the world. 3 months x2, 2 years = x256, so just gather a million or so, and you will have close to a billion in 2 years.
- look out for grammar mistakes, it is not 100% true but a lot of scammer has shown that they do not put in the effort so there will be a lot of grammar mistakes in the website, whitepaper etc.
- read through the whitepaper, gather all your thoughts and doubts, challenge these questions to the dev team in telegram or email. If the dev never reply, just dont bother and if they reply but they cant answer your questions well, you also can consider to strike off this project.

How to choose a good coin is to look at the volume and ranking of the coin. the greater the volume of the coin then the coin has a large interest.

good question, I, too, it's interesting, but it seems to me that it's very difficult to track fraudsters, should make a special website :)

I agree with you buddy, but I don't think an ICO which presents a good White paper, best team, good media coverage and published on good rating websites are most likely to be a scam. sometimes they don't reach their soft cap and money is mostly returned. I also agree with you that this business is all about risk taking. Yes, that is what all this is about. If you are not ready for the risk involved, then do not start. To make fortune is the risk-taker.

Firstly, I think you should learn about the information related to the projects. A trusted project should have a complete and adequate information. Look at the website, landing page, its social media. You must ensure them in good looking. Then, you also need to analyze the concept, idea, product, and goals of the project. Are they reasonable, promising, interesting, and profitable? Do not believe just because of huge profits only.  ;)

Many investors have invested in cryptocurrency, which causes capital in the market to increase. Therefore, people are being attracted by this potential field. However, not everyone makes money, and unfortunately, most new crypto traders loses their money because they make mistakes that are easily avoidable. Not Catching Up With Market's News. Not Diversifying Your Investment Portfolio.

SCAM there can be interpreted not for fraud but there is no request to buy the Altcoins.

so if Altcoins does not have a vision for the future then investors will turn to the other altcoins.

Once you reviewed enough projects you can easily understand which project is a scam which is not. Copied visuals, fake linkedin pics of executives etc. Can be the sign.

As of now there are 1500+ cryptocurrency exists in the world.
Many dead many rising and many has to come.
So how can i know the currency  ,where i am putting my money is not a part of scam?
Or is there any other way so we can check about respected crypto might be it'll work?
I think this time around is about luck because I don't why, even though they had everything we are looking for but at the end day, we are still hoping that it is a good one.
