Is it possible to mine using smartphones or tablet? If yes, How?
Can you give me instructions on how to mine using smartphones or tablets?
-
not sure, but i think i've seen something about it...depends on the coin i think...
nevertheless, it will surely be really for a few coins as the computing power will be ridiculous. For the cost of a smartphone you can get a nice GPU and at least get more for your money

I see, So its true that you can mine using smartphones but depends on the coin. That answers my question bro. And yeah you're right but maybe not just GPU that you have to consider when mining using smartphones, also the CPU and the Chipset and ofcourse the battery because it will surely drain the battery so fast.

look, i'm not sure about being possible, although i think it is, there are people using tablets to mine (CPU mining) nevertheless i think that you misunderstood, because what i was saying is that the amount of coins you might gain using a smartphone to mine will surely be ridiculous and with the same money you can buy a GPU, install it onto a PC (you can buy a used one), and mine with a lot more effectiveness....

Ohh I see, Now its clear to me, what you want to say. You're right. Buying used one and use it to mine is still better than mining in tablet. Thanks a lot.

No problem, i'm also a guy that is always searching for new ways to use stuff, but in what comes to mining you always have to account the investment vs hasrate vs electrical consumption ... it is fun to try to use tablet/smartphone/etc for CPU mining, but in the end is not worth the trouble/investment
good luck

I read an article that someone was trying to mine on the smartphone Iphone X. The result is not to say the least impressionable. I think we should not focus on this topic.

Yes of course Electroneum is the first cryptocurrency that allows users to mine coins with a mobile phone.

HOW TO MINED ELECTRONEUM
Mining Electroneum on a smartphone is fairly straightforward:
Download the app to your device and create an account on the Electroneum website (here’s a guide).
Log into the app using your credentials.
Go to the Miner tab at the bottom and click the Start Mining button.
That’s it! Your phone will now start mining. It will show your hash rate (the speed at which your device is mining) as well as the pending balance (how many coins have been mined) on the screen.

Wow! have tried that already? if so, How much did you earn? or How much can you earn? tell us more about this Mining Electroneum.
-
would also like to know about your experience with electroneum
people are also mining ITNS on tablets and smartphones... the wallet has a direct option for mining, but a friend of mine tried it and only got a few coins a day...
like i've said before... all these are great hobbies, but to do some real mining you'll need stronger equipment ... for CPU mining or GPU mining

Yes. thats why i want to know more about his/her experience of this "mineable" coin using smartphones or tablets. Because this will help a lot of people including me.

The idea itself already sounds ridiculous. And how much do you plan to earn this year? 10 cents?

Im not really into it, as you noticed on my question "Is it possible to mine using smartphones?" So im just curious as a newbie of mining, im curious whether you can mine using smartphones or not, and Im just asking to get more information or knowledge about mining (learning purposes). There's no big deal, really. lol
-
Sure it is , I will tell you more there are special phones that are working as cold wallets and that can mine crypto currency. Just do a good research.

Is that true? What kind of phone is that you're calling a special phone that can mine crypto currency?
-
Smartphones or tablets used for mining sounds still unfamiliar for now. It is caused by the spec that allows it quite rare. :)

I think so too, And I also doubt that you can mine using smartphones or tablets. But maybe, in the future we can use our smartphones or tablets for mining.

Is it possible to mine using smartphones or tablet? If yes, How?
Can you give me instructions on how to mine using smartphones or tablets?
You can mine Bitcoins or ETH using your Android phone’s processor, but I'm afraid you won't be able to mine any amount of coins.
A few of the apps I’ve noticed with “profitable” mobile miners actually don’t seem to truly use the phone for mining.

Joining crypto mining will just become more expensive and it will reduce profit if you will just use the power in your cellphone because Crypto mining operation will need a considerable amount of electric energy to sustain the i
operation. Not only the considerable energy amount to be use but you should also consider the cost of every electric that you will consume during the process.
-
it is basically not worth your time and life-span of your phone. most of them will not pay and their gain money from ads like faucet tool. i suggest you to stop using that.
and it become worse if you use smartphone based wallet in same wallet you use to mining. well you can guess. :)

Thanks for your info, it would be better if you create a new thread for this valuable information. I'll try it later.

Is it possible to mine using smartphones or tablet? If yes, How?
Yes, it is. But I think it's useless and a waste of time. I've tried using my two laptops mining Ethereum 24/7 for almost two months, and guess what? My laptops are no longer operational and worst I can't even convert to fiat the value of Ethereum mined - too small.
Can you give me instructions on how to mine using smartphones or tablets?
All I can give is this link, https://steemit.com/crytpocurrency/@brutalboris/mine-cryptocurrency-with-your-android-devices-phones-tablets-etc

Can you give me instructions on how to mine using smartphones or tablets?
It is not advisable to mine using cellphone because of the huge power consumptions that will be needed in which you will need a lot of power bank just to make your energy stable on every transactions. Using electricity alone which compose of high voltage of current will cost you higher electric bills how much more for the tiny cellphone but if you will eager to try then just visit this site for your smart phones mining needs https://www.techradar.com/how-to/how-to-mine-cryptocurrencies-on-your-android-smartphone.
-
It can be possible minning with smartphone, but I think isn't recommended, because it just waste our time, you can't get profit from there, I think you will be lost your phone because it broken ;D
-
Money using a smartphone is a reasonable thing and it is common that many people do business by using smartphones to buy and use smartphones to invest in crypto use smartphones because the smartphone can be brought anywhere unlike the computer can not be placed in the pocket
-
Maybe it is not a good recommendation for using a smartphone for mining, in addition, you will not get any profit You are also a waste of time, money and effort.

Ohh. so to make it short, mining with smartphones are useless? I have read articles and discussions about this too and your reply is pretty familiar.

I see, so lets just say. Even though I get to mine using smartphones but the profit I get is not enough for electricity that I will consume. Thank you sir.

Thanks for the advice sir, Well, Im not using smartphones for mining. Im just asking if its possible or if its worth of my time. But I understand now that it is useless. Thanks.

Ohh Im sorry for your laptop sir, I see that you lost some money. I think that mining using low specs devices is not really advisable because it is just a waste of time and base in your experience, we can lost our money too.
Well, thanks for the link sir.

Yeah, Or Maybe the phone will explode because of too much energy consumption. And not to mention the electricity bill tho. Now, I dont want to try it.
BTW. Thanks for the link.

I dont wanna waste my time tho. And I dont want to lost my phone too. Hahaha I have others way to make profit tho. Mining using smartphones is not a choice now.
-

I think so too. Most of the comments here about mining using smartphones is Negative. So majority. Mining using smartphones is useless.
-
Yes you can mine in the smartphones and tablets and it is very legit , just search from the googleplay and type cryptominer and then just follow the instructon. Ive done mining for that in bitcoin.

I think that mining on a smartphone will be very uncomfortable and I don't like it to do it, it will only make the smartphone quickly damaged
-
yes you can! check this thread for setup procedures https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=38190.0

I was under the impression that Electroneum was pre-mined when it comes to cell phone usage and its mainly just an incentive to keep it running. I'm not big on the Electroneum project but however you slice this, it feels really gimmicky... it may would be cool if "only" cell phones could do it so hash power wasn't so ridiculously lopsided, but people will find ways of exploiting this almost guaranteed.. imagine an asic emulated Galaxy S9 miner.. lol.

Great! I want to also mine from my mobile phone because I have a spare one which I don't anymore use and I believe it makes the phone useful if I should just use it for mining.

Hi, if I want to mine bitcoin on a smart phone, do I have to have high specifications for the RAM processor ? and what smartphone brands recommend to mine bitcoin on cell phones ?

I thought that there would be no results using a smartphone but making the cellphone age shorter. anyway the producer is not maximal

thanks for the link sir. i would love to try this one how much the minimum pay, out? Im using android phone huawei Nova 3i processor kirin 710, 4gb ram would you think this is profitable?
the minimum payout is 10 ETN coins
-
I think that there is no smartphone or tablet capable of doing profitable mining actually... too much power is required for that als also smartphone life will decrease too much
-
Is it possible to mine using smartphones or tablet? If yes, How?
Can you give me instructions on how to mine using smartphones or tablets?
Yes its possible, but you just can mining from website with small benefit. And it can make your smartphone slow procces because overhot
-
In my opinion this is fraud. Well, the smartphone processor can not compete even with a personal computer.
-
I must confess this is my first time ever reading a thread of this kind. Mining using smartphone! I think it is kinda a joke to try using smart phones to mine valuable coins. My brother, if you really want to make some real money, i would advice you go through the right way. Although the expensive are somewhat costly, i must confess it is at the end pretty rewarding. Let dish it out on smart phone mining for now.
-
There is an electronium application in which developers admit that real mining is not carried out. But with the mobile purse enabled, coins are charged. Illusion of mining as a marketing solution.

Sweet coin, I learned about it from some site, could be interesting to see where it goes, more and more people are having cellphones and tablets, which is basically a computers.
-

your point doesnt make it a fraud, i have tried mining with my smartphone and every coin mined moved to my wallet.
-
Phoneum will be the first crypto to be exclusively mined with phone or tablet, so when this coin launching i think we can see many people mining with their phone, i think this would be graat to see
-
I really don't recommend you to mining cryptocurrency on a smartphone. Why? because first, mining requires maximum CPU work.
second, mining on mobile will only make mining performance not optimal because it is shared with other applications.
bad effects if you still do it, your cellphone will experience damage in the engine part, because it is forced every day to do heavy work, and you will spend a lot of money to fix it.
the bad news again, the results of the mining process are not commensurate with the damage to the cellphone you experience.

Yes, you can mine using a Smartphone, and I have written mining methods.

Starting mining with a smartphone is dangerous. Some people have lost their smartphones because after mining. Don't try to use your smartphone to mine if you want your smartphone to be long-lived.
-
Mining can indeed use smartphones, but in my opinion it's not a recommendation. You must consider how many coins you will get and electronic damage due to excessive battery usage and very hot battery consumption. This can shorten your smartphone usage.
-
Mining can only be done with the Mining Ring or using a laptop with a good spec. Mining with a smartphone will make your smartphone damaged. Some people who have mined with smartphones have told the forum not to use a smartphone to mine.
-
Ya theres a ming in smarthphone mining etn coin the last time i use that minig i get arround 0.3 $in etn perday using smarthphone I dont know about know
-

There are some coins for which mobile miners are there but you can imagine the hashrate with your mobile processors. They are not worth it plus risk of installing some malware is high, so its better to avoid it.
-
There are several coins that can be mined with a tablet or smartphone. But mining with both items is dangerous. Although some people have tried and managed to mine, they complain about their smartphone or tablet getting worse.
-
yes try to mining etn coin in smarthphone and that can mining tol in laptop or pc. i can get 10 etn perday $0.3$ perday the last time i mining etn 4 arround 4 month ago i dont know about now.
-
it can be done but all have the risk of damage to our smartphone, maybe the smartphone will crash and of course it cannot be done in the long run
-
@universe, I've tried mining new coins with smartphones. But I found my smartphone to be damaged. So in my opinion, to mine, use special tools to mine so that it is more effective.
-
Recently, I started mining Electroneum using my smartphone and I loved applications user interface, after mining 10 Electroneum your wallet will be automatically updated. There is no limit to mine, Get it on Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electroneum.mobile&hl=en_IN)

I am not sure but the current mobile phones are not built for mobile mining. It may shorten the lifespan of your phone
