Do you have a particular coin or field you're interested about? A good starter would be checking out your chosen coin's official website as they typically have some basic guides for you like wallets, where to buy, etc.

I would highly recommend installing a wallet and playing with it! you could also get some testnet coins (if any) for testing.

At this point now don't do anything with rash, just focus on gathering knowledge first. And  this is the right place you can do that easily too.
But if you're looking for a good articles and resources.
For articles I think coin base, coingecko will be good to read about any particular coin that drag your interest, even in this forum you can also read about some altcoins in their discussion board.
While for resources you will definitely need a wallet, a good exchange account like binance, bybit, kucoin etc.

Wish you well.

First and foremost, welcome to the world of cryptocurrency! It's important to start by focusing on the fundamentals and expanding your knowledge about wallets and safety precautions. By doing so, you can protect yourself from potential scams or hacking attempts. Take the time to educate yourself about blockchains, and remember to never share personal information or your wallet seed with anyone. Additionally, implementing 2FA protection is highly recommended. Lastly, ensure that you have backups for all your keys or phrases. Stay safe and enjoy your crypto journey!

I am also new to this forum but an old member of another forum (BTT) so, I hope it would not be a problem if I would mention some good topics here that I read there, but before that, I will say, if you want to know more about crypto, then first make your mind, like what outcomes are you expecting, in general, you have to learn the basics of crypto like what is blockchain, what are miners, validators, stakers, POS, POW, encryptions (encryptions are not that necessary). And how a crypto project works, you can be learned that by reading some whitepapers of new projects or of old projects. The whitepaper gives more information than a group of articles or resources.

I can see the enthusiasm of members here to help in getting materials for OP but from the looks, seems OP is not serious about his or her plight here and the efforts of members sourcing for materials. I checked OP profile and found out OP last came online on the 7th December which means OP is not active here for nearly  almost a month now. This does not portrays any sign of seriousness for someone who is eager to learn a new thing. I wish OP could come back here and see updates waiting for them to act upon.

This is just the habit of most OPs. If you watch most threads very well, you will notice that some of them just create those threads and forget about visiting them again. It's just their way of life. Only a few of those people who ask questions on threads are smart enough to come back and check the response they get from the thread.

But not with standing a thread, it always creates exposure for a particular topic. If it's not helpful to the Op, then it will be helpful to anyone who might have the same question in mind to ask. That's why sometimes we don't take to think about the reaction of the person who asks the question, as we can answer them and pass our information based on what could be helpful.
