Most of those testimonies are team work and they are testifying among themselves to deceive others. So when dealing with airdrops or memecoins. Me I no dey too like airdrops because of their wahala. My friend wey do airdrop task and dem give am up to $500 airdrops, till now him no fit sell am and according to them the airdrop go soon burn and once dem burn am dem all your efforts na waste. And me I don tell them say let them no carry their  Airdrop matter them to me  because I will not be interested to do all those things. I think investing in Bitcoin is only with me.

That is even better. Have you not seen airdrops that the conditions that will be given is only just to lead people to scam. I have seen some airdrops that are obviously scam and some will demand for KYC or email which can also be used for phishing attack. I have seen the ones that will tell people to pay VIP fee which is just to scam the people that pay fee.

I  have encountered this type of scam airdrop that you're referring to.

The one I did was through telegram - and all I had to do was to refer at least five people and after that, you can withdraw, but the funny part is when you want to try to swap it to a different coin so that you can sell. They will allow you to pay for the activation fee (which is a few cents) and after activation, you'll receive a notification that an error occurred and the swapping was not successful. And the coin you kept for the gas fee keeps decreasing because some are being used for the activation of the token. So if a thousand people try swapping their token multiple times they will be able to accumulate money just from the dust gas fee that's being taken.

I received a message from one of the projects I took part in their airdrop as at 2017. They sent me a message reminding me of my airdrop account update. I saw it and was happy hoping that I got something tangible for the week and it was very much reasonable. Only for me to log into my account, upon attempt to withdraw, what I saw is that I should update my  account and register my identity with $50 which got me wondering if I was on the wrong platform and immediately I just checked back to my email and deleted the message because I did not see it as genuine.
I have encountered airdrops that demands for KYC and other valuable means of identification which made me heads up and vigilant whenever I come visiting.

Wait a bit, I don't get it. Does it mean that anyone how is fully verified on OKX automatically gets the rewards or what?
Sincerely because I have created account over there and make verifications in fact before coming to reply here i had to go check my deposit history to see if this reflects to my accounts but not. Most times mine app doesn't go well, in most cases I have seen some of mining coin not end up listing while some are so much difficult in a way that you can't even have the coin after kyc, just like what happened to Pi-coin many people lost it during not meeting up their kyc processes.

Lol 😄 well you all are right , most airdrops are just waste of time that why I normally take mi time before attending any, for instance I like to base on Dex airdrops that don't normally require dropping any personal information as form of verification. Thus they will tell you to do some certain task as form of kyc . And most telegram are usually Marks as scam airdrops expecially those with the requirement of refering others before getting the token , and payment of some petty fees in swapping that token expecially as bsc. Those fee may look small but getting that same amounts from multitude may turn something huge.  But despite the scamming part . There are still legit airdrop that endup paying.  I've seen alot of testimonies, even a guy recently use the money he made from aidrop to get himself a new smartphone. But well it takes the grace of God to see such airdrop that why most prefer during different types of aidrop because one will surely pay.

I will agree with you to this because I have personally have this experience as well my early days in Crypto. There is this airdrop I took part in years ago and just as it is with referrals so this airdrop is. It is a telegram airdrop bot which went well as programmed and I successfully   scaled through the whole process and secured my  token but it became funny and obvious when it was time to claim the token. The process was just as you have said here, I did the first withdrawal the process failed but fees gone, I did the second and it was the same issue then I realised that it was not really a token but a scam. You could imagine the thousands of people that have tried the process of withdrawal and had the same issues not know that it was a scam.

I will agree with you to this because I have personally have this experience as well my early days in Crypto. There is this airdrop I took part in years ago and just as it is with referrals so this airdrop is. I don't know if is same telegram bot airdrop but then I can still flashes back on the kind of airdrop I have anticipated then and I could remembered an airdrop than said " for you to withdraw your rewards you need to send about 30 tron" as then which is likely to be around $2. At some point they increased the fee to 40 Tron and so on, I ended up wasting a total of 100 tron without me able to withdraw my reward successfully.
