Title: BSV manipulation?
Post by: Zed0X on January 17, 2020, 07:05:42 AM
I wasn't really surprised when I read this artcle (https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/01/15/data-shows-why-bitcoin-svs-163-rally-in-a-week-wont-last/) which suggests that Bsv is being highly manipulated.

BSV’s rally, however, may not be as bullish as it seems, as the volume backing it suggests that it is pure manipulation rather than sustainable growth.

These parabolic gains appear to have been driven by strikingly low trading volume from reputable exchanges, signaling that this recent rally could be pure market manipulation driven by market making algorithms that engaged in wash trading to propel the crypto’s price.

I don't usually watch this DataDash guy on youtube but he was also quoted saying the same thing

Ignore the price moves of $BSV. Only $35.6M of volume is from exchanges open to US traders. The other 99.4% of daily volume is made up of mainly no-name exchanges and known wash trading exchanges that still deceive this space. They can basically dictate a false price.

Be careful not to fall for these kinds of manipulations. There are even some articles being posted in various forums like this one saying buying bsv now is like buying btc in its early days, IGNORE them.

Bsv's future hangs on Craig's battle to prove that he is the real Satoshi. From what I can see, he's been so deep in his web of lies. It's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.

It looks like this is already starting to happen. Despite the fact that Bitcoin today rose in price to $ 8,865, and ethereum to $ 169, Bitcoin SV not only does not show growth, but also fell by six percent, to $ 291. It should also be noted that bitcoin cash has increased in price by more than seven percent and the price of this coin now stands at 346 dollars. This price comparison clearly shows that something is happening with Bitcoin SV. Probably the credibility of Craig Wright is falling.

^ Yup, those groups could no longer sustain the pump. Bsv is currently suffering the most drop. Those shills are silent now after cashing out or dumping their bags to noobs who fell for the FOMO. I suspect that the next time they will pump this coin again is when Craig releases some "news" again that he is the real Satoshi.

Not surprising, prece went down a lot in the past, it was a huge oportunity to a whale grab a lot for cheap and now can manipulate it
