A good decision they've made so far because I was beginning to wonder if they really had the right vision for a digital world we're speedily driving into. It really would have been bad that the development would spread across and just because the country corrupt practices is inert, the development in the digital economy sector will be out in hold for us.
One would think maybe they just discovered another means of benefits in the crypto market which is why they lifted the ban but which ever way, it works right for both the corrupt minded government and the investment minded citizens. Crypto is one field that helped a whole lot of Nigerian youths out of the primitive era and space into the growing digital environment. There's an envisioned growth and widespread on the way and it's only best that no one is restricted into taking the bold step to join the trend to avoid being caught up in a web of lost wishes too.

It is a good news to hear to the new Year. This upliftment of cryptocurrency will increase the uses of cryptocurrency rapidly in the country and the adoption of it will be on the high rate. Though after the unbanned of cryptocurrency, the government have not made any official announcement on the modality they have taken to strengthen the adoption of cryptocurrency in the country but everything is just on the low key. We believe before this year will end, the government with his agencies on the cryptocurrency matter will come up with good plan to make things easy and forward for everyone to enjoy.

I would not be surprised that binance would tell us one day that they had forwarded the list of KYC verified Nigerians operating on binance platform for government own perusals. That is when you will know that they mean the taxation business.
When our government give any offer then they have seen a further way to earn from it ;D . This is happening soon when the news starts fading, they just keep making more ways to exthort  from us, its good to pay tax though but what are we using it for in Nigeria :P

Paying of tax is not the problem of which we know it is good to pay but what have we as a nation achieved with tax payers money. We pay tax just to enrich some few individuals who claims to be our leaders and powers that be  who were fully elected into office to lead the affairs of the nation in their various positions and elected offices.
No doubt I would not be surprised when such an event starts unveiling itself that crypto exchanges should forward the list of verified Nigerians on their platforms to start proper documentation for tax collection. My sister if that one happen you go begin count all the money wey you don make for this crypto and withdraw through exchange because you go pay your tax for all of them.

Naso dem dey start nah dem go make good statement,  enforce it , making us believe  they really  care about us only to cut  the majorities off and start making their minority  approves  laws to extorth, its  just the way centralized market works, they will always need a KYC verification for every account  which even differs from that of the third parties. However, if that very system is being introduced  there's  no way we are escaping it brotherly :D

I trust Nigerians to that effect. I believe one day such scenario would definitely come up but they should not bother about the past years to think of collecting tax for transactions that have long existed before the implementation of the new policy. They should just start from there to do their things while we Improvise with plan B to sort ourselves out.
