How to increase activity ??

You are new to this forum. I suggest you keep posting regularly in this forum. Posting regularly will gradually increase your account eligibility. But for this you must gradually increase the amount of post writing. The quantity of your post will be determined by you.

I believe that only constructed posts will be counted when it comes to activity. There are so many members who make one liner posts and I believe such posts may not help to increase someone's activity. I'm not deeply sure that how activity works on this forum but I'm quite sure that someone has to write constructive posts to increase their activity here.

I think your account has not reached a certain age so your activity is not increasing even if you post. No worries. Patiently go through the forum time. When your account reaches a certain age, you will see that the activity will definitely increase when you post. You can follow the forum's own rules.

I guess your case is different. You probably disregard section rules and other sticky topics like General Discussion Post Count, because all your posts in the sections where posts increase activity are counted in your activity amount, and if you'd read that sticky topic you'd found the answer. I advice to read section rules in the future.

You can talk about BTT without any problem @Hamza2424, or even put links if you think it is necessary.

What I wanted to tell that user in that post is that the activity is decided by several factors. The more posts (or threads) users make, the more points they earn, that factor influences the others. The more quality a post or thread has, the more karma it will receive from other users, that is another factor. The time logged in the forum is another influential factor.

As you can see, there are several things that need each other to increase overall activity.

I was also curious to know how the activity must be working here, things were really easy on BTT but not on ALTT due to numerous badges, ranks, etc. But after digging into this forum I found this thread Activity has stopped increasing which is made by the admin himself. To increase your activity you have to make posts, create topics, gather karma, and how much time you are spending on this forum, these are the main things that matter most.

Now you must understand, why I said things are a little complex here because the activity has that many factors only. Other than this, the original poster has not been active since November 2022, so it won't be of any help to him anymore, mods should lock this thread by the way.

Why? If someone will answer the first post which was left more than a year ago, he'll just get some -karma for disrespecting other users, but if someone has to say something in development of the topic, why to close the topic? Many can have the same question.

And if someone will like to necrobump some topic without a serious reason, he'll just get some -karma. It's not something urgent that moderators should interfere.

This topic is active at the moment, and users have something to say about activity increasing. If they follow the thread they are free to discuss this here.

Maybe your account has not reached some level or you have be ban you should reach out the moderators and lay your problems to him that would be the best way to go about it I gist….

You need to be constantly active to increase activity.  For newbies as they don't know much about this forum most of the seniors advise them to post one to three qualifying posts daily.  My personal suggestion to increase your activity is that you should be active in this forum regularly and always express your valuable opinion on what you know and learn.  In this way try to learn regularly in the forum and keep posting good quality posts regularly, then your activity will increase over time.

I think is normal because have also experienced, usually happens when you about ranking up to a new a rank your activity in a certain point would freeze for while.

Just keep being active and contributing to discussions and even though your activities may not reponsively increase immediately,  as time goes on it will reflect and if you check by now I believe the activities wound have been restored to the normal and corresponding with the number of your comments or posts.

I'm relatively new in this forum so i try to read many posts on a thread to kind of learn how to make sensible posts I don't try to increase my activity but kind of learn because there are some thread you see in which you will know nothing about I try to read those threads rather than to post nonsense and get a negative feedback or karma. Only when you have learned how to make good and sensible post then can you try to increase your activity
