Ideally, multiple account is not acceptable on this platform. I assume that everyone read the rules and regulations before joining this website. Besides, what is the importance of creating multiple account, when it takes time and effort to grow just one ?. Instead of wasting time in growing multiple accounts, it is advisable to channel all the energy to one account only. If any multiple account is detected from one user, trust me all the accounts involve would be restricted.

In the case of buying and selling, I am not really sure about that, so I would just check for other comments.

Thank you for your answer. But I have another question which you have not answered. Will it be considered the same as a duplicate/multi/alt account if anyone buys an account? Or it will be negatively tagged?

No. Moreover, except admin others may know nothing about whose is this second/multiple account.

When I see officially declared accounts with a duplicate badge, I don't know whose these accs are. Just that these accs are someone's second/multiple.

No. You can probably try to use a control over it as one of the facts to try to restore your account if other methods won't work, but it is not for replacing one account with another.

Admin never allows multi account at will. But some users take this opportunity to multitask and get scamming in the forum.  Multi accounts must be killed if any.

You have never known or appreciated the essence of having an alternative account that even the admin himself doesn't know who owns it. The essence of multiple accounts is not necessarily to join bounty. I have seen some alt accounts in BTT that remains a newbie or jr member for years. The owners use them only when necessary. It helps to express opinions without endangering your main account.

But since this forum is against it, anyone using this forum should abide by the rules of the forum.

Base on the guide line one account is preferable one  you used multiple account it will look suspicious, when Using multiple accounts is typically not permitted on most platforms due to potential misuse, and it often violates the platform's community guidelines. Be sure to review the specific rules of the platform you're using to ensure adherence.

According to me, this cannot be done here. Because Altcointalk closes the account if it gets tracked.
