Is money the real root of all evil?

Money can be said to be the source of life for humans all over the world, without money we can never do anything. Then is it true that money is said to be the source of all evil, I do not agree with this.  Because in fact the crime is in the brains of each criminal himself.

crime always happens because of thoughts that cannot be controlled with a reasonable mind, but all of that can happen because of many things, one of which is poverty (not having money) resulting in people finally thinking of committing a crime, because there is no other way otherwise they will died of starvation.
indeed, to stop this, there is a sense of concern from those who have more to be able to pay attention to those who are experiencing difficulties, so at least there are solutions that can be taken, although not all of them can be resolved.

Greed is in the root of a lot of evil, but no, I do not think money itself is. Money are a practicality, they don't provoke greed in on themselves. People were greedy even back when society ran on a barter system.

I think when we understand that money is only a tool, and our thoughts and desires must be in control, I think everything will be fine. But what happens now is that money has become a god in everyday life. This then drastically changes human behavior.

It must be the goal of everyone here to get as much money as possible. There are even people who do not care about the loss of others, who do anything to get money, including cheating. I think it's a crime that is very painful for me and everyone here

For me I don't think that money is the root of all evil but it was said that love of money serves as the root of all evil when man loves money more than its fellow , that can be dangerous but that doesn't mean that we cannot make use of money.

Money is the financial equivalent of a commodity. They are just a tool in the hands of man, and cannot be evil or good. Therefore they are neutral. Evil comes only from man.
