I stumbled upon this post now and I must say that this is a good one but as we all know that telegram is a platform filled with scammers and hackers.  So therefore one needs to be careful with transactions on telegram platform.

I really commend this p2p stuff but you will need to verify its authenticity before engaging in it so you do not make any mistake of losing your fund's and assets to scammers. I believe the platform has it's own trading rules which would guide all traders registered with the platform to deal.

I still can not find such features on my telegram account. I have updated my app and still searching for it. Can you please drop the link to the platform if you do have it so we can access it for ourselves.

Even if p2p comes to telegram, I would not do it because that app is for disaster scammers who have no pity of existence. Telegram is the execution Centre for scammers. When they meet you in Facebook, X or Instagram then they will corner to telegram to complete the process. Though the wallet might not be from the third party but from the owners of telegram but because of the bad reputation not the app, most people are now afraid to use such app to execute transaction. KYC or no KYC, a app that doesn't accept sell button is not worth using because we use the selling button more than the buying button.

 Nah “Normally, you aren't supposed to be able to buy a currency via P2P without verifying your kyc if the exchange is centralised.” I be think say I write, no wonder my post kon get another meaning.

In all centralized exchanges I have used they always request users to pass KYC verification before they can do anything related to p2p (both buying and selling) but this telegram own does not require you to verify your identity before you'll be allowed to buy and move your coin out of your account, therefore making it easier to multi-account in other to increase ratings.

My post was never meant to discourage the use of CEX for p2p, that's what I'm also using so it would make no sense to discourage it - the only thing that's being discouraged is using it to store your coins.

Because before you can gain access to start using the ads In the p2p you first have to do some kyc to verified the account with your ID card.

I have 2000 naira worth of USDT there.

On March 3rd I selected the lowest ad which was 2,000 and made the payment just to see if they'd really credit my account without me undergoing KYC and it worked out fine - but to move it out or sell I'll have to add more to it to reach the minimum withdraw threshold of $5 but I don't think I'll risk more for that amount.

I also have some Lil amount in there I got it through an update, well when I try using it during when they started the p2p stuff they actually ask for me to snap my ID and upload it there for my account to get verified

Has anyone used Telegram P2P? I checked it out, but the volume is quite low, there are no Sell ads, only Buy ads, and the entire thing appears sneaky. I'm not urging anyone to attempt it; I'm just curious if anyone has traded there before. With the current FG hunt for P2P, we're discovering some hidden P2P platforms in unexpected places.

Omo since na third party wallet then I know them fit use am exploit and scam people well well especially if to say the option to sell dey. My one big question is how can they moderate this and please is this link to any exchange or is just telegram hosting this because am a bit confuse on how safe this thing fit be because we dey see how hard sometimes e dey be even for exchange wey get security and moderation to trade coins and this one no get that security.

Telegram has always been on the news for wrong doings all attributed to scammers and their nefarious act. Opening such an account would be the last thing I would think of doing because the space is not safe and conducive anymore. So therefore anyone doing such should be ready to face the consequences of whatever the outcome would be while being a member of the telegram p2p platform.

Me I never even heard about it before and it is from dis thread I come dey hear shey telegram sef even get wallet. And me too I never see am from end and I dey suspect shey you go download separate app for that wallet.
Edited: And I just tried to find out if I can see the wallet from Google Play Store and I didn't see it and I also look for it in the telegram messaging app and I didn't see it as well. And that means Boss Igebotz who knows where to get the wallet can direct us though I m not going to use it but just want to know where to get it for reference purposes.

You don't need any thing just search "wallet" on your telegram and the bot will come up. Click and open

90% of the activities in telegram and more or less scam based on my experience , whatever telegram P2P you are doing just know you are embarking on a high risk and prepare your mind for whatever that comes out of it.
For me telegram P2p is not advisable.
