Usually startups has a tech aspect, but they can still operate in traditional fields ...
Take for example uber, it's like a taxi service but rely on an app

I think startup is something with not predictable outcome, nobody knows what will be in the end, and yes it's almost always related to IT field. While in usual business model you some business plan for that and you can calculate some usual risks and potential outcomes.

A startup is a high-risk project. But I do not agree that it is impossible to calculate the risks. If this were so, the venture capital market could not exist and reach a size of $160B for 2018.

Both in startups and in a ready-made business, there are risks, the only thing is that if a startup has an original idea, it is impossible to fully think through all the risks that may be.

It seems to me that investing in start-ups is still more interesting, yes, there are more risks, but if an idea fires, it can bring a good return.

I share your opinion. I think you are totally right.
But it seems to me, investing in startups is really unpredictable, as it usually isn't stable and it may frighten new investors.

Personally, I prefer e-commerce development. In my opinion, it's an amazingly perspective thing today.

While the difference between a startup and a small business is subjective, it often comes down to the company’s growth goals and revenue forecast. Startups focus on disrupting markets and driving top-line revenue at a fast pace. Small businesses, on the other hand, often set their goals on long-term, stable growth in an existing market.

The difference between a start-up business and a normal business is experience. A normal business already knows how everything works so will be easy for them compared to start-ups. Though sometimes start-ups can perform well even than normal businesses depending on who is behind the project, perhaps some experienced group of people decides to start a new business, so it will not be that hard for them because they already know about business.

Great question. Startups and traditional businesses do have some differences, but it's not always easy to define. In general, startups tend to be newer, smaller, and have a more innovative or disruptive business model.
Startups can still operate in traditional fields, like Uber in the taxi industry. They just bring a unique approach to the market that sets them apart from traditional businesses.
I also wanted to share a resource that you might find helpful - https://www.successionresource.com/valuation. They provide business valuation and consulting services, which could be useful if you're considering starting a new business or acquiring an existing one.
