Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Info and Prediction Thread
« on: January 10, 2024, 04:08:21 PM »
it wouldn't be surprising if Francis is now the favorite of bookmakers. he did knock down Fury, only a few had done it despite him not in boxing.  some people have speculated Francis to win that fight though, the man is in combat sports for a long time so he does know how to box. he could win this time with AJ, if Francis can fight up to 10th round with the best HW in boxing, he can extend it to 12.

Francis career had changed for good after he got out of UFC, his 2nd fight proves he making big bucks.  In FFury fight alone it was said he earn 10M.

Gambling discussion / Re: Do you tell your husband you gamble?
« on: January 10, 2024, 04:01:13 PM »

if it gets you in trouble why tell him. just to avoid anything that is will lead to arguments, just keep it to yourself.  it doesn't count as a violation like you are not loyal to your husband when you don't tell him about it. it wouldn't count as lying either.

but in case you feel guilty. and there is the need to tell him. you just have to be prepared for the reasons and after all you are in crypto and are prone to see casinos in every page.  ;D

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin ETF approval
« on: January 10, 2024, 07:39:59 AM »
Bitcoin ETF approved after long drama but 5-10 minutes later announced @SECGov X account hacked. People may wonder why twitter account was not hacked till now and why x account got hacked as soon as it was approved? People no longer believe in such dramatic events. Bitcoin is moving at its own pace and will continue to do so. I don't believe this dramatic fake bitcoin ETF.

that's what i also read today. which most off the users on twitter even suspect this is a manipulation of BTC price involving SEC itself.
they claimed they were hacked but have recovered the account in less than an hour which is why there are floating speculation about them just toying around.

if during that time when they announced they approved the price hit 48k, a lot of traders must have also execute their long futures trade but liquidated after hours. crazy things are happening.

Elon scared away his major ad sponsors after he said no to regulate the freedom of speech in Twitter (X)  and i guess its crypto ads that comes to replace those ads. but then in anyway, this is still a good indication so that regular people would learn how to spot which is scam and which is not.

this was the thing that happened back in 2016-2017 where ICO scam just spawn the market and the growth of BTC price went from $1000 to almost $20k

Gambling discussion / Re: Control your emotions when gambling.
« on: January 05, 2024, 04:23:51 PM »

Not only in gambling but in any field of life we should try to control our emotions. The emotions like greed and fear are the main cause of huge losses that gamblers and traders face. If someone can control his/her emotions and make thoughtful decisions then he/she may not face much losses in gambling or in trading.
But the question here is, how a certain individual will control his/her emotions in gambling. It can be difficult to do something that not everyone is capable of, especially when you're in the middle of gambling and enjoying the game, or when you're on the verge of losing all your money and the only thing on your mind is how to recover your losses.

every gambler have been in such situation and the strategy that is being fed when we want to make money thru wagering is to double down.

hard to fight emotions when you are losing. you'd feel like betting more will make you win back the loss and then ended up losing more.
and when you found some threads like this that you wanted to control your emotion while playing, you still have second thoughts whether to deposit or not when you are losing in a casino game.

the latest FN schedule is Ankalaev vs. Walker 2. they deserved this since the first ended to somewhat very questionable. the referee just stop the fight when Walker answers in the desert when questioned where he was. this time they are in the UFC Apex at least.

To me it looked like Walker was fit to fight, but was hoping for an easy win by disqualification. That didn't happen and the fight was declared as no contest instead.
I think Ankalaev will run him over this time. The bookies agree. Although I'm not a big fan of neither of them.

he would have won if the timing was right like Aljamain did to Petre Yan. but before that knee he tried to tease Ankalaev so the guy did his full throttle.

unless the token will not be considered security, ADA may still be in the late development. crazy stuff happens when SEC is aiming at the token. and its been a battle with XRP since. even today they are still not out of the woods thats why Charles was furious when SEC targets ADA.

investors might still be wrecked for as long as SEC continues to grip.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not for Everyone
« on: January 03, 2024, 05:24:23 PM »

its no fun losing so if you have to gamble, you might as well strive to win.  this i think we are not new since we have gambled before and crypto is surrounded by casinos which it was the first use case from the beginning.

but at least we all know there is a warning sign to it even in the fiat world, the casino is always labeled with warning either from losing money to gambling addiction.

after i saw AI can generate images and the very recent happiest rabbit that its almost godly like, it sure is somewhat going to replace the graphic artist in the future.

there was even a news recently where there was a photo contest and the winner revealed it was actually generated by AI.  i'm sure it was such a disappointment to all the contestant but surprisingly non of them have the idea even the judges.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Who Called Bitcoin Fraud, But owns Bitcoin today?
« on: January 01, 2024, 07:27:48 PM »

there maybe people who called BTC fraud and up to this day, they will not acknowledge they were wrong. Peter Shciff still calls it fraud but his son is buying BTC which is very public.

Larry Fink CEO of BlackRock once called BTC “index of money laundering." but look at him now he is filling Spot ETF.

can't consider Warren Buffet but he once called BTC a rat poison but now he has investment in banks who are allowing BTC and crypto deposits. and Justin Sun gave him BTC.
