Forum related / Re: AltcoinsTalks Top Karma Earners (Monthly Edition)
« Last post by dwyane36 on Today at 09:46:12 AM »
PX-Z, Earlier, I saw that one user published karma statistics, not only for the last month but also for all time. Something like the top 100 (or 200) users by number of karma, Also, the number of users with 1000+ karma, 500+ etc...
Such kind of statistics would be interesting, maybe (if it is feasible) to add it in the next report.

I really can't find the thread (the forum sometimes still confuses me with its arrangement), but it looks like that user has given up on regular updates

That thread you mentioned was created by me at the end of last year and is located in the Heroes & Legends Lounge board, a child board of this one. As I see, the Heroes & Legends Lounge board is not very popular, or maybe many users really can't find it for some reason. Nevertheless, I would like to note that the table isn't abandoned, and I still update the data in it with a periodicity of 2-3 weeks.

Crypto Wallets / Re: QUPPY - Multicurrency cross-platform cryptowallet
« Last post by Quppy on Today at 09:45:12 AM »

Choosing Your Crypto Wallet: Hardware vs. Software 🛡️💡
Stepping into the crypto world? 🌐 The first crucial step is selecting the right wallet. But between hardware and software wallets, which one suits you best?

🔑 Hardware Wallets: The Fort Knox of crypto storage. Ideal for those prioritizing top-notch security for their digital assets. Pros include offline storage, making them nearly hack-proof. Cons? They can be pricey and less accessible for quick transactions.

💻 Software Wallets: Your on-the-go crypto hub. Perfect for daily use with easy access and user-friendly interfaces. Pros are cost-efficiency and convenience, with the trade-off being a higher risk if your device is compromised.

🌟 Why Quppy? Whether you lean towards the security of hardware wallets or the accessibility of software ones, Quppy bridges the gap, offering a secure, versatile platform for managing your digital currencies effortlessly.
The choice depends on your needs: security vs. convenience. Why not get the best of both worlds with Quppy? Dive deeper into your ideal wallet solution ➡️ quppy.com

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Yo mix scam for 1.6 btc
« Last post by Fivestar4everMVP on Today at 09:43:13 AM »
Hmm, I think it's not right to try to force yourself if you are good with English, use google translator, type in GT in your local language and let the software translate that to proper English for you, so that your readers can better make sense out of your post.

In all that you said above, I only understood that yomix (which is a bitcoin mixer) scammed you off your 1.6 bitcoins, how this happened? You didn't say, or may I did not understand that part.
But all the same, thanks for warning the community,
I will advice you move this thread to the Reputation, Scams & Phishing board, and also provide some evidence of proof to support your claim, would help alot if you can, so that users, and possible users of this mixer won't have any reason to doubt your claim..

Sorry for your loss anyway.

Vitalik Buterin announced that he keeps 90% of his personal cryptocurrency assets in the Safe (formerly Gnosis Safe) multisig wallet. Such wallets use the M-of-N approach, where a key is split into multiple parts with equal access, and you need a majority of them to work.

Some belong to you and the rest belong to other people you trust. Do not reveal who these people are, even to each other, Vitalik wrote.

This is how Buterin responded to a thread in X about the importance of self-storage of assets. More specifically, he responded to a post by an X user who fears that the biggest risk in using a hardware wallet is the owner:

You could have your cid stolen, lose it yourself or put it in a safe deposit box in a bank, and then hastily move to another country because of COVID.

Almost every tech giant cuts off their employees a lot to cut down their operational costs and this resulted in the emergence of AI which swapped the requirement of an actual human needed for the task and the trend will likely follow in the coming years too.

The condition remains the same in every field, an exception could be the medical field.

So as an individual how do you plan to have a secured job considering that every job is at risk?
the answer is simple for me  , try not to be an employee but try to built your own business/company so from this you will never be off against AI/Robots because you are now the boss and will serve your client.
this is the sad reality of development that we are now leaning towards technology and the human skills is slowly dying , because we are now fond of high or speed result than the traditional one.

News related to Crypto / Re: Russia prepares for total crypto ban
« Last post by Charles-Tim on Today at 09:35:52 AM »
Though this is truly sad news, I would say that this development will not anymore have any impact with cryptocurrency in general as I think the market has had already discounted Russia and China years ago. Do you agree with me?
They will only try, but their citizens that have already known what crypto will make the ban not to have much side effects. I will not be surprised to still see Russians buying and holding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We saw how China banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies several times but the price of bitcoin still increased and the adoption continued.
