I remember last year, there was a case when a user claimed that one of the mixers advertised on this forum allegedly scammed him for 10 BTC. Most likely, that user just got victimized by another phishing site, of which there seem to be a lot in search engines.
Honestly, I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the advertising campaigns of Mixtum and other mixers on this forum are useful not only in terms of promoting their brand but also for pushing scammers out of search engine results. I guess this might be because forum pages are well-indexed by search engines.

As for altcoin mixer services, I wonder if there are any stats on how many users prefer altcoin mixers over BTC mixers.

Yes, dear, These signature campaigns on this forum work as the backlink for any mixer campaign; with the help of these signature backlinks, these trusted mixers rank higher in the Google search engine, and as a result, the chances of getting scammed for the users get reduced.

Other than that, I know everyone will prefer to mix BTC rather than any altcoin, but I was saying this because I am seeing altcoins trending because of Trump adding altcoins in US national strategic reserves. The last Ethereum mixer has gone into oblivion. It is offline now. As far as I know, there were no accusations that could be characterized as an exit scam. Earlier, I advocated the position that a larger number of mixers is needed to push each other to deliver the highest quality service possible. However, a long period is needed to prove it, and until then, we stick to reliable and proven mixer services.

I think for now, Bitcoin remains the available mixer on the crypto economy, and there may arrive altcoins mixers in the future, The Etheruem mixer that was launched few weeks ago tuned unsuccessful.

The nature of mixer is not like casinos/gambling and to work together will be very hard since a vast majority of mixers are operated by bad actors for illegal purposes and that is the reason why they get closed down after sometimes of the operations.

It's mainly due to popularity of Bitcoin, the openness of Bitcoin Blockchain and it's pseudo-anonymous nature that there is need of Bitcoin mixers to hide record of your Bitcoin transaction. The alts don't have Bitcoin sort of Blockchain so they don't need any mixers.

Let's put the topic of whether or not thermos is going to lift the ban on bitcoin mixers advertisements in the bitcointalk forum aside and focus on the services that these mixers offer that help our privacy, and we should not think that only bitcoin talk generated traffics for mixers although bitcoin talk is one of the highest and this altcointalks also is doing it best and as alternatives to bitcointalk.

Well, it could be that they winded up because no liquidity, lack of patronage or they are figuring out the best way to come back big. I remember that I visited that site but could not do anything because I don't own any fraction of Ethereum. I don't know why, since my arrival in this industry, I have never had Ethereum in my portfolio.

Hi there mate, hope you're doing well haha its my interaction with you after a long time, Well, honestly, in my opinion, we all know that Bitcointalk generates more traffic as compared to Altcointalk. In case these mixers find any relaxation or any positive indication from the US government, they obviously start to move their signature services on Bitcointalk as well.

Along with the relief permission of the American government, theymos permission also matters here, and some days ago, I was reading a post from a senior member of my community. He wrote that theymos may consider to welcome these services again on the forum if he finds any relaxation from the US government. So, hope for the best to happen this soon!

Why would they pay for Bitcoin when they can simply seize it away from someone? At the same time, we assume which industry will be the first to be hit here.

I have never thought of this from this angle you came from. Are you saying that US is not supposed to seize bitcoin used for fraudulent activities? If they have the right and sure the bitcoin they seized were actually from fraud, there's no problem using it as a reserve. Do you prefer they sell the BTC off, or give it back to the fraudulent owners, or do you mean it should have never been seized at first.

I don't want to welcome the thought that Trump administration will go about victimising bitcoin owners in the quest for acquiring bitcoin.
