KCS Hold for Future

I remembered before—I can't even remember what year it was—that when you buy KCS or hold it on the Kucoin platform itself, your KCS balance will increase every day in your wallet. It's like he auto-stakes your wallet balance.

Then it stopped for a long time. I hope they bring back this marketing strategy that they did now so that the traders have a reason to buy and hold the Kucoin token itself. Especially since it recently had a problematic hacking issue.

I don't remember this feature on KuCoin, maybe I haven't experienced KuCoin enough to notice its existence. Currently, I've been using KuCoin less, I'm just following the price movements of the KCS token and I see that it has crossed the Weekly EMA34 (Sonic-R) and is worth investing in to get  profit in bullrun.

If you enjoy the Earn feature on KuCoin, you can still stake KCS tokens and earn an APR of ~2.61%. I don't think this is really that attractive from an investment perspective. If I had the choice, I would choose to hold BNB on Binance to receive free new tokens in Launchpool, while also benefiting from BNB's strong price appreciation in the future.

The future of KCS Token is very good and it is worth holding for a long time. Kucoin Exchange is currently ranked second, and is widely preferred by investors. So holding the coins of this popular exchange is definitely profitable, as it has a wide range of investors.

I also like KuCoin and think it is the most attractive option after Binance, since I cannot use Coinbase. I also had high expectations for the potential of the KCS token because KuCoin also has KuChain, but unfortunately KuChain has not been as successful as BSC.

Currently, I no longer use KuCoin regularly because it is involved in a lawsuit related to allegations of money laundering. I think KuCoin needs to resolve or settle this lawsuit before it can continue to succeed in attracting users in this bull run, and then the KCS token price will be supported and continue to rise steadily. The competition in the CEXs field is becoming increasingly fierce due to the emergence of new CEXs such as Bybit, Bitget, CoinEx..., KuCoin really needs to get out of legal trouble and come up with new strategies to survive and continue to develop sustainably.

I agree with you because many coins require this coin to pay free during exchange and it's advantage is that exchange with this coin is much more convenient than other accent sites and free is very less and that's why this coin is worth holding.

The trading fee on KuCoin is 0.1%, similar to many other CEXs. However, at least KCS has some value when used to provide holders with various benefits when using the KuCoin CEX. Unfortunately, KuCoin community chain has not been very successful in reaching a large user base, so KCS is not as popular as BNB in the BNB chain.

Nevertheless, KCS price has recovered well from $4 to $16 in Q1 2024. The current accumulation may signal a significant price increase in the future, but honestly, I'm not willing to take the risk of investing in KCS. Perhaps I would feel safer buying and holding BNB if I believe in a token backed by a CEX.

No, I'm not interested in doing that because I use KCS to invest not for fees, not only in Kucoin but all exchanges that have private coins,

Yes, there are some advantages to holding KCS (KuCoin Shares) tokens, especially if you regularly trade on the KuCoin platform.  KuCoin's own token, KCS, offers certain benefits to holders,
 However, as with all crypto investments, holding KCS can be risky, as its value depends on market fluctuations.  Therefore, before deciding to hold KCS, you should consider your trading needs, investment goals and risk level.

After Bnb a lot exchanges tryed to build their own token, following Bnb model, but the most of this coins hasnt been able to achieve greatear sucess as they Sold their tokens to allow costumers to have beneficts, wich in general is only to pay less fees.

Unless you moove around 100k montly you wont see big advantages holding this tokens, as there isnt anything else to do with them.

I had a time i wanted to get KCS to hold because BNB sucess, but volumes are far away and the products built on that time was different.


Im not familiar anymore about what Kucoin is doing and using their own token for, but unless they bring a new chain wich use KCS and some kind of Mining new coins with their token, its a good coin but wouldnt expect too much from it.

The success of Binance with its BNB token has created an effective model for many other CEXs in the market: CEXs have their own tokens with various benefits such as reduced trading fees, participation in IEOs, or paying transaction fees on their own blockchain. Binance has the BNB chain (BSC), while Kucoin also has the Kucoin community chain (Kuchain).

However, the Kucoin community chain has not been as successful as the BNB chain. Its ecosystem is quite poor, to the point that I don't know of any projects or tokens besides KCS. I also don't deny the impressive growth of KCS price during the bullrun 2021 and its strong recovery from late 2023 to the present; it has outperformed many other tokens in the market. I don't invest in KCS but hope that KCS price will increase and not disappoint holders in 2025.

I don’t think it’s worth comparing BNB with other exchange tokens, you can compare some other tokens with others, but not BNB with them, because BNB is very different from other exchange tokens only because it’s not just an exchange token, but also a token of its own blockchain, and as we see and observe, it has become very popular, and only because of this, the BNB token stands out against the background of other exchange tokens.

KCS may not be as famous as BNB, but so far Kucoin can be said to be a good exchange compared to Latoken, if there is a chance I will think about investing in KCS to get the benefits as it already exists, saving withdrawal and trading fees is already amazing for me
