NO! Please do not try to do this. You need to educate yourself much more before getting into crypto or you will lose everything from either your mistakes or scammers.

It's funny to see this question though. Have also tried asking the reverse of this question? Can I transfer ethereum to my bitcoin aDDRESS...
They are two separate things which can't be put together.

Obviously you can't. But for your information few months ago, I wanted to pay something from my gdax bitcoin wallet and i intentionally put a Litecoin adress instead, very cheap amount (about 20dollars) i thought i lost it forever, but miracle after a week the amount was back on my account.

Bitcoin can not be transfered in myethereumwallet. So only ERC20 based tokens may be transfered to MEW.

No, you can not, BTC and ETH use two different blockchains and this way are absolutely uncompatible. Instead, you can use exchanges to buy ETH for BTC..

impossible. Water and Fire do not live in the same house. Try to get different wallet for different coin or download coinomi.
Since your question show that you are a newbie in the crypto world, the best for you now is to use the exchangers wallet such as bittrex, poliniex, cex.io, coinexchange. Good luck

Just dont do this, the same case happened to my friend he accidentally put his btc in etherwallet he was tensed and pissed after doing this but after 1-month surprisingly his amount was returned.

MEW only supports ERC20 tokens, possibly ERC23 in future, but BTC is not ERC20 token. Don't try, because you will not get anything interesting.

I was shocked to see such a question though. But in any field, there is an expert and a greenhorn.
To the op, they have different blockchains and for that matter, transaction can't take place.

No, MEW can only receive ERC20 tokens. If you send bitcoin to this wallet it will be lost forever and no one can do anything about it. Avoid at all costs unless you want to throw your money away.

No, you can't do that and not even try because bitcoin and ethereum run on different blockchains and have different addresses.

Your Bitcoin will going to be lost if you do that because mytherwallet is intended for Ethereum and Altcoins that are ERC20 standard so therefore anycoins can be deposit except Bitcoin. I just hope that you did not do it.

no it's not possible you can't sent bitcoin to myetherwallet never try its otherwise you will be loss your btc,myetherwallet is design for ethereum and erc 20 tokens not for btc

it's not possible to deposit bitcoin to myetherwallet because mew is an erc20 compatible wallet, bitcoin is now an erc20 compatible, so don't loose to your bitcoin by sending to mew

Yes of course we can deposit bitcoin or any coin in our wallet as long as our tokens is ERC20 compatible because there are tokens that are not ERC20.

You can't transfer Bitcoin to myethereumwallet because myethereumwallet doesn't support Bitcoin at all. If you transfer , you will loss all of Bitcoin you have.

If you do this it will not be possible in any way because Bitcoin is never related to Myether Wallet. That's why Bitcoin won't come in MyEther Wallet. Rather if you still If you transfer bitcoin, you will lose all your bitcoins. So you know better about this and get better knowledge about transfer. Then you will know everything better.

I think we have to be careful when we transfer any coin to wallet that we have, we have to make sure first whether the coin we get is using what platform, after that we are sure that we look for the wallet that we have whether it matches the coins we have, if you don't have it, we have to make a wallet that matches the coin.
So far, as far as I know, Myetherewallet is based on the ERC20 platform, so if you have Bitcoin coins, it is clear that the wallet cannot accept it, if you force it, you will lose your coins. like entering a room that is not for him but forced.
