Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.
Same as was gambling
Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.
-
Agree with you bro.. already i addicted by Bitcoin.. ;D
-
I agree with you
-
the statement for gambling is incorrect.
because Bitcoin is a valuable asset.
if gambling doesn't have any value at all, because gambling is useless.
-
Yes, some will think like that, and some prefer bitcoin as an asset to store wealth and will hold it in the long run.
-
sure, a few will suppose like that, and some decide on bitcoin as an asset to store wealth and could preserve it ultimately.
-
I think that this is completely a case of humans ambitious and ambition, frankly it is a blame for the instrument here, so relating it with addictive drugs is meaningless.
-
Uhh, no. It's nothing like heroin. Bitcoin is the first real application of blockchain technology in the form of a decentralized currency. It hasn't quite lived up to the currency part, but it is definitely decentralized. No one can shut bitcoin down no matter how hard they tried short of completely shutting off the internet. Most people here are in cryptocurrency in general because we believe that blockchain technology can better the world. Imagine a voting system that uses blockchain to verify votes. It would be simply incorruptible. No more fraudulent voting claims, because there's no way to hack the network because the network is everywhere in the world. There's no central point to attack. There are many many other real world applications like this.
Now, lets look at heroin. It's a drug, only sold on the black market and other illegal markets, drug dealers, etc. It does nothing for the world and only serves as an escape for those using it. You could maybe argue that it's similar in it's addiction but I still completely disagree. Would you compare heroin users to people who trade stocks? Or people who invest in companies? Of course not. If someone invests more than they have, be it in stocks, startups, or crypto, they should never invest more than they can afford to lose. That's the risk of investments. There's really no similarity other than your imagined gambling comparison, but cryptocurrency is as much as gambling as investing in anything. It's fundamentally different from gambling. I hope you look into bitcoin and crypto in general before you make such ridiculous comparisons in the future, and maybe you might learn something as well.

Yes, It is true mate. Butcoin is very interesting and already i addicted by Bitcoin. It is a good thing.
-
Yes, in some part bit not as always.
There are some instances that bitcoin is very different from what you are referring.
How you will be addicted when you lose half of your earnings or maybe you lose your real property for bitcoin because of the word be a risk taker. Although we have our different views toward bitcoin still at the end it is a place of risk and life or death.
-
Even though you don't fully agree with what you say, but I think what you say is true. Many people rush to buy coins when prices go down to get big profits. But they finally lose because they are in a hurry to sell when prices go down. This is why trading is like gambling. But if someone already has knowledge about trading, I think people will not do that. They will be wiser in buying, and know when to sell coins so they get profit.
-
What a strange comparison. If I google heroin, there will be picture of people before and after they started using drugs.
Bitcoin investors doesnt look alike like people from "after" pictures.
-
I think Bitcoin is a business field in Crypto. Bitcoin is the most successful type of cryptocurrency ever. If anyone is crazy about playing in Bitcoin it's natural. Because the potential for profit is indeed huge, and that is certain. Losses can also be experienced by users. And all of that to me is common in this Crypto business, especially in Bitcoin.
-
I think that making addictions is true, because Cryptocurrency (BTC) can make people very rich quickly. but I think that only applies to people who have experienced success in the BTC world. because of that for those who lose, I feel cured and don't want to repeat in the world of BTC.

Will if you are a gambler, then you can use some crypto coins in gambling, but implicating this like a heroin is not true, thats can make people go to addiction, because people comes to the community of cryptocurrency in order to have a better future and gain another source of income and not become fanatic about gambling addiction, because not all who comes into cryptocurrency spending much there crypto coins in betting, but instead for securing the saving's of the future.

Yes I think bitcoin already addict me, I always want to invest in bitcoin. Because It is very profitable.
-
@sentinel, if someone has knowledge of trading, I think people will not take the hasty decision to sell bitcoin. They will patiently wait until the price of bitcoin goes up. Because bitcoin always proves to recover after a downturn.
-
True, bitcoin can be addictive. Bitcoin can give me profit and loss, even though I am aware of the risks but the benefits I receive and the feeling of wanting to get more profits, makes me unable to escape bitcoin.
-
if I pay attention to almost everyone who invests in bitcoin or already feels the sweet and bitterness of investing in bitcoin they will definitely struggle hard to always invest to make a profit. as if they are already addicted .
-
Agree with you bro.. already i addicted by Bitcoin.. ;D
Of course. I also addicted by bitcoin since 2017. I have gotten alot benefits from bitcoin. It is like heroin.
-
In my opinion, even though many people are mixed with bitcoin but it's 1: 1 with those who have the skills and knowledge of bitcoin. They do not spend the time to fulfill their desires, but they try to succeed in cryptocurrencies.
