I do not think that bitcoin can ever become a single global currency in the world. He is too volatile for this by nature. Constant sharp ups and downs in the price will not allow bitcoin to become the only world currency, it simply unbalances the economy of any country. Bitcoin can become one of the world's currencies, but not the only one. Are you talking about all currencies inclining fiat or about crypto only? In both cases, it’s hardly possible that Bitcoin will replace all other projects and turn into the single one. The reason is in the world’s structure. We’re not the single global community yet, so we need different currencies to distinguish one society aka country from another. The only currency (Bitcoin or any other) is possible only when the world will be united and it sounds like a bit utopian. And don’t forget that there are hundreds of altcoins apart from national currencies, these projects also will compete with Bitcoin. Diversity is cool, I think.
