This must be the case. Initially, I was unsure about the concept of karma, so I decided to look for answers to my questions to gain clarity. Also, I noticed that OP's badge displayed both a "Karma Good" and a "Karma Bad" label. This indicates that apart from receiving positive karma, someone has also given him negative karma.

Learn Bitcoin is correct, this badge is given for giving someone a -karma. There's no badge for getting -karma.

Okay, this confirms that I was right. When you send negative karma to someone, you get the bad karma badge. You didn't get the badge because someone gave you bad karma. As I already said in my previous post, I have seen the explanation somewhere where officials were saying that you get the badge because you send bad karma to someone. OP, you are not alone on this. I had 2 karmas but suddenly 1 disappeared. I didn't bother creating a post for it because I am sure I haven't figured out how things works here.

This is disastrous. If you have a hater the person might decide to be giving you a negative karma everyday untill your karma points turn to negative. There should be a strong way to check abuse.

I believe the problem we are experiencing here is similar to one I saw in a post where the poster said he unintentionally gave someone negative karma without even knowing the person.

It would be better, in my opinion, if we could see the posts that receive positive or negative karma as well as the users who distribute it, Because if the user receives positive karma on his/her post, this will encourage them to research more about creating high-quality posts. Also, if it is negative karma
the user cannot blame anyone for receiving it because it will show that he/she has a bad post.
