Amber, completely agree, even its easy to pay in few bitcoin rather than paying a huge bundle of cash for Exchange (buy/sell) of property, Real Estate.

More interesting thing is that, Companies are now accepting BTC as payment for property.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Be honest, how has BTC helped you? (Discussion)
« on: July 13, 2018, 06:54:18 PM »
First of all, Bitcoin helped me in many different ways. I can't enumerate it all but it did the best impact in my financial status. Regarding online payment, yes. I am honest when it comes to this. There are some establishment in my country that accept bitcoin and when I pay, I show them what am I doing.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin become an asset

I still think bitcoin is an asset, and it's hard to call it currency.
Because currency is going to be widely used, and bitcoin is hard to use on a large scale right now, I expect the lightning network to change everything.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: what is BTC's future?
« on: July 13, 2018, 06:52:12 PM »
If you compare with other coins, it seems to me that the future of bitcoin is the most promising. Even if we assume that the crisis in the crypto-currency market will be longer than everyone expected bitcoin will remain a coin with the greatest confidence so capital can move from altcoins to bitcoin and this will make it the most tenacious.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is BTC really a currency?
« on: July 13, 2018, 06:50:53 PM »
Bitcoin is a digital currency and not fiat currency. It is highly decentralized and not under any government control but only affected by the market sentiments. Bitcoin is not in the good books of some governments and are looking for a way to regulate and sometime even discredit bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: BTC in Denmark!

I think by now, Bitcoins and other coins should be widely accepted in shops. Notwithstanding, I also think we arent doing badly where we are now. More can be done for cryptocurrencies to be more actively used in our everyday transactions, I know, but we should give ourselves some credit with how far we have come and how much we have achieved. I am strongly in favour of cryptocurrencies being more inclusive in daily transactions all over the world.

Crypto currency Mining / Re: tax mining in Canada and USA, help!
« on: July 13, 2018, 06:24:32 PM »
There is local taxes only for using bitcoins and there is no information that IRS regulated taxes on bitcoin mining separately. We don't need to pay anything apart from that. US government treated bitcoin and other digital currency as a property for US federal tax purposes bro.
Adam Bergman is a tax partner with IRA Financial Group and president of IRA Financial Trust Company. Contact them more information.

Can't speak to Canada.

In the USA, IRS rulings are that Bitcoin mined does not become taxable 'till you either sell it for cash or spend it on "tangible property" at which point it becomes taxable at the cash value of the amount of Bitcoin you spent.

There's a lot more verbage involved, but that's the short-form basic information you need.

I suspect state and local income taxes (where applicable) have to follow the IRS rulings on the subject.
