TBH, $5,000 is a very conservative prediction knowing that the price of Ethereum is at $3,000 currently, and the bull run hasn't even started yet. Yeah, probably very difficult for Ethereum break out to $5000 after stucking around $3k with bitcoin getting correction few percent. I think Ethereum altcoin most depend on Bitcoin price, if bitcoin keep difficult break out to higher price almost impossible for ethereum will reach above $5k.
I follow with ethereum currently price around two until three months later, without good news and moving up from bitcoin very difficult to see ethereum raise higher price and less expectation for etehreum raise up $5k, but has chance if bitcoin success break out the ATH seems Ethereum has chance make new ATH too.

Well, Bitcoin has dropped under 60k and other cryptos have also started to dip a bit. So nobody can predict what would happen in future, it may dip even further. The market has been a bit unstable for some time. So investors should not rush in investing in this unstable situation.

So far today, the market has been greenish and surpassed it's previous price which means there is hope for price increase. Although nobody can predict the market direction but however the speculations keep coming that Bitcoin would surpass it's all time high and that is what most enthusiast are looking forward to.
