Hmm, As far as I understand, you are trying to say, if a person wants to move to a tax haven, so that he doesn't have to give tax on his investments or assets, or business, which he had made in USA, then he have to renounce the citizenship, as if he will not, he still have to pay money. But what if he starts his business from a tax haven place. Like every document is made from that country, in this case, your county won't have to know it.

I mean I know while paying taxes you have to tell the business and earnings etc. but in this case, you still have to pay the tax, while you are living in the US but building a business from the start in a tax haven. I thought we don't have to give in this case, that's why I was confused with your statements, Well, for this the best and the worst both cases would be to name your assets to a tax haven citizen, I know it worse but still people use this method.

I don't know what other users think, but I think it's too much of a coincidence that this happens now.

Probably he has someone else in charge of his social media account and that guy is connecting to every single thing right, his password was reset two weeks ago so the same guy has access not only to his BTT account but his email also.



There are two more possibilities but I don't find them plausible
- they allowed him to have a smartphone in arrest and he said, let me visit BTT to see what guys are saying (despite him being able to browse without login)
- the authorities have asked him to hand over his social media accounts, but this is a tax evasion case, not hunting for a terrorist or a criminal

That is interesting, I didn't know his account was online few days ago, but I doubt he did this from prison.
I don't see any password reset or any other changes with his account in last few weeks, and I don't think he left his account unprotected.
Something is happening behind the scenes, and I expect to hear some news about his prison status.

The government may have required them to open the account, but so quickly? I seem to remember that Ver was arrested 27 or 28 days ago... Don't you think theymos would have said something about it publicly?. In case theymos could say it publicly.

That's why I said I don't find them appealing, if he had been arrested by the Spanish police for a thing happening in Spain and since it would be just tax evasion , proven by his lack of filling for tax, they might have consented to let him have one, after all whatever he will delete his problem is that he didn't do stuff, not that he did! So deleting doesn't help!
But since he is in for an extradition probably nobody wants an extra headache, so slim chances.

I still think it's somebody from his team accessing it, after all, most guys running a business that posts online are too busy for tweets and others, they have someone writing that for them, of course, unless you're Musk and you like to troll all day.
And since Roger Ver owns Bitcoin.com which has a dozen authors writing stuff I think he might have one trusty guy with control over his social media accounts.

As he has never before publicly explained any case concerning any court requests for data of members of BTT. What we know is that this has happened several times in history in various cases of scams - possibly even with BTT accounts of people who were associated with one of the most famous mixers that was taken down not so long ago.

When you are a US citizen who is an admin of a forum, and your name is publicly available, then you don't have much choice when a request is put before you.
