If DOGE is stored in a private wallet, then it can also be safe as long as the Private Key is not exposed by anyone.
If DOGE is stored in CEX, it will be safe as long as the CEX does not experience losses or go bankrupt.

For this condition to be met, the wallet must be open source, well reviewed by many developers, and have enough entropy to have 128 broadcasts. Using closed source wallets^[1] means blind trust in developers, which may lead to the loss of your money.

Me too, I'm holder of DOGE too.
But just on my exchange wallet because I also do daily trading on DOGE when the market show good performance.
Always buy in CEX and sometimes sold when I think I have gotten profit.

Doge coin is great to have, but it is for the long term and cannot be profited from in the short term.
It took quite a long time for the Doge coin to reach its current price from 2013, and I still remember the previous value was around 1 Satoshi for the price of a Bitcoin fraction.
Doge coins also depend on whether investors and traders want to buy them or not because the basic concept of Doge coins is Decentralized, which can change whenever the price changes and this is dangerous for ordinary people.

Its price increase was solely based on advertising and hype. Yes, many could make a profit because of this. But in the long term, I don't see good potential for Dogecoin.

I am very distrustful of meme coins and Dogecoin as well. This coin has skyrocketed in price because of Elon Musk, and it can just as suddenly fall as it took off. This coin needs to add various useful functions, only in this case it will receive some kind of solid foundation.

I do not agree with the opinion that this coin is designed for the long term. Coins that have practical useful properties are designed for the long term.

We have billions of dog lovers, and I think DOGE is a meme coin aimed at this community.

During the 2020 cycle, DOGE has shown outstanding growth in price and communication. ElonMusk has made DOGE a cryptocurrency for everyone, most Twitter users know BTC and DOGE instead of BTC and ETH.

Exactly, this shows how important community promotion is to every coin. With the help of community promotion, coin can become very popular and also attract more investors, leading to mass adoption. Memecoins aren't safe investment. Even when it comes to elon musk, then it is super risky in my opinion. I admit that this man is so genius and crypto is getting more popularity because of him but he could dump his share anytime and memecoin has nature to dump or dead anytime. So he even don't need to explain actions but during bull run, doge could go higher maybe 2$ or more if everything all right. So you can invest you but risk your own responsibility

Nobody can give you assurance about memecoin but as we know, elon supporting dogecoin, so people get connected with this coin daily even they know this could be risky. In fact, Doge is the best meme coin ever, able to survive to this day, and can provide unexpected profits for its owners. I personally believe Doge has good potential for the long term.
Whether it is worth it or not is up to each party to decide, but for me Doge is worth investing in.

Okey , if you buy DOGE coins with your cold money then the price of the DOGE coins will increase. You lucky roooouuu !
But remember, if you buy DOGE coins and then the DOGE coins drop in price, you will experience a decrease in money in your wallet portfolio.
So what will you do when your cold money decreases, you can't go anywhere because you are trapped in the DOGE coin whose price is currently above.

I never see Dogecoin as an investment, but surprisingly I see it as a flare for a bull market every time. Sometimes I have bought Dogecoin to transfer money between exchanges, but it doesn't make much sense for me to do more than that. I don't know; when I look at the history of mankind and see that rare metals like gold have been used as a store of value for hundreds of years, I can't invest in a coin like Dogecoin, which has an unlimited supply and no purpose.
