Nice to create same thread in BTT here?

I have seen many topics whose discussion is exhausted in BTT and they are re-started here, with same title and body content.

Well, IMO, it cannot be seen as plagiarism if it was the same user who posted on Bitcoin Talk who still started the same topic on this forum. although I think it will be wise if the user can add the link to their first topic from the other forum. On this forum, I have actually created a topic that was already created by me on Bitcointalk, but I added the link to the first post on BTT, and I have also created on BTT the same post that was first created by me on this forum, but I had to also add the link to that same post from here.

Good to know how you handle the issue. But I have a question. What is the essence of repeating same topic in two different forums. Is it to have different options from different forums? If yes, it can be said that every single user here and including the admin has an account in BTT, so there's no need repeating the topics.
Unless it is to create avenues to complete post counts.

It should not be considered a plagiarism if teleported member teleports some of his important topics, but they should not start copy-pasting all or majority of their posts.
If other members make a post or topic from different members without posting source link than this should be reported as clear plagiarism case.

It's not plagiarism if the topic is started by the same user that owns the topic on bitcointalk, I also have plans of gradually bringing over here, all my topics or threads from bitcointalk.

But what I do think is wrong is to completely copy and paste the topic here exactly as it is on bitcointalk without taking the time edit or updates some stuffs that might already have gone out of date or style, this I would consider to be as a result of laziness, and such practices if done consistently by a user, such should be considered as spam and the user should be given a mild penalty as a warning.

I think it wouldn't be plagiarism if the thread had content added (new and exclusive) to the original Bitcointalk thread. Copying and pasting is pointless as it would only increase the number of posts (o rank up and participate in bounties. If all users did the same thing we would have two identical forums with the same content, and that doesn't make sense and harms SEO. I also think that the administrator should give his opinion on what is discussed in this thread and know what decisions moderators should make.

Not only from the Bitcointalk Forum but from all that is in various famous online media such as Forbes, Bitcoin Magazine, Coindesk etc.
All copy paste must provide references, sources or website links from the owner of the article.
This is also to appreciate those who have made articles with difficulty and we as readers would be a good way to provide reference links and better give donations to them (if we have funds).

Maybe I can conclude, every topic made in the Altcoinstalks forum or discussed from various online media, should attach references or sources. IMO

Aside from that, whenever we create a thread it's important to avoid doing copy and pasting information from the sources without having to add our own opinions. Providing the link is not enough to share proper information with other people, it would be better to have a few opinions added. We should go for giving to offer our unique perspective on the information we shared, instead of just sharing the link because we were the first person to see it. Remember, anyone can search news online, that's why it is so important to make an effort and clarify the information we share in our threads. This way, we can create a platform for easy and efficient sharing of new information.

You’ve actually simplified everything and this cannot be called plagiarism again. Even without adding the links to the original post. Since it is the same users on both forums that reposted it again, I don’t see any problems with that. A problem of plagiarism will only occur if the person that reposted it is not the OP of the thread and didn’t give credit or reference to the original poster. Not all users on this forum are on BTT and not all users on BTT are on altcoinstalk, so sharing same information to both forum is okay. Moreover, a user might not come across the post on one forum but can come across it on the other forum. So, I will in my opinion see this as something okay and not to be penalized for.

This is definitely because we want to discuss in this forum looking for the best results from a topic developed from various online media.
We also have to have our own ideas to be able to continue being in the cryptocurrency space as long as the topic discusses cryptocurrency, except maybe Off Topic etc.
Most of the information I have absorbed so far has been from Coinmarketcap because I see that when there is a good trend for Coinmarketcap, it immediately updates, for example regarding Bitcoin prices, news and various other information.

Exactly. Sharing our own ideas or explanations regarding a particular topic can help others gain additional knowledge. The main objective of sharing updates, which include our own ideas, is to initiate a discussion and obtain diverse perspectives from people around the world. Without these opinions, it would be the same as searching for the latest update on the internet and reading an article that may be difficult for some people to comprehend.

Just assuming that not all altcoinstalks users have an account on bitcointalk then I think the same post doesn't matter if it is important and written by the same person and includes the source.

Maybe the account that teleported already knows about the thread while other users maybe they don't know so I think there's nothing wrong and it doesn't break the rules so I'm happy to see many threads that are useful for them.

If it’s a guide or a tutorial then I don’t see any issue with it being moved to altcointalks but if it has to do with news or a question then it’s obvious that they’re doing it for the post count and not to gain anything or engage in any sort of conversation with those that are going to respond to it [they're some that will still engage with commenters though].

You have rightly pointed out my concerns and if this isn't addressed, majority of the participants here are going to lift their topics from bitcointalk forum. I do not consider it wise to lift such topics. There are thousands of topics to discuss and not lifting generic topics like "Do you gamble at work?" from BTT to here.

Welldone @Cantsay for your input. If it's a guide, there's no problems with that but any other thing other than a guide is not necessary for lifting.

I think we should refrain from opening identical threads here that already exist on BTT. It's fine if something is informative and useful, so users who don't spend enough time on BTT can also get information here. (With a mandatory link to the original discussion)

For example, why do we need such discussions here? And on BTT it's a pure spamfest, why broadcast it here, where there aren't even any casinos that promote themselves?
