The Ledger Nano S is the most popular hardware wallet available, and it supports Litecoin.
If you have a lot of Litecoins, this is the most secure and robust way to store them. It not only allows you to control your private keys, they are controlled in an offline environment.
It comes with an inbuilt OLED screen, a backup seed key, and a pin code feature. This is how you can restore your funds in case something goes wrong with your hardware device.

The wallet you use depends on how you are holding. Short term holder often time uses mobile and desktop apps, as they might be traders, but when it comes to holding for a long term, you need a hardware wallet. This is the safest way to keep your token, and you are in charge of your security. Trezor wallet, exodus wallet are good hardware wallets.

If you use an online wallet then you must save the private key.
If you use HArdware Wallet you must keep it in a safe place in your home.
If you use exchange, your ID must use authentic 2FA and verified email.

I use Electrum for Litecoin, as a light desktop wallet. I'm satisfied with that. The only drawback, is, it's own network of servers, that keep the blockchain. Others use Exodus, and of course, Ledger and Trezor, are good hardware wallets to keep your LTC in. Another wallet that includes LTC support, is the Atomic wallet. This is special because it supports, atomic swaps. With atomic swaps, you can exchange coins without the need of an exchange. With Atomic swaps, the exchange is done on the blockchain level. This is great! It supports, many other coins, and if the coins, do not support Atomic swaps, they use Shapeshift and Changelly exchanges.

Any discussion about cryptocurrencies wallet is incomplete without mentioning the Jaxx wallet. It has got much popularity over the time because of its unique and innovative features. The developers of this wallet are busy day and night in refining its user interface. This wallet also offers support for various cryptocurrencies with a lot of security features. One of the top security features of this crypto wallet is the import and export of private keys that the users can store at any place on the PC.

Ledger Nano S is one of the most famous and widely used offline cryptocurrency wallets. It is the wallet that is preferred by most of the uses for storing your crypto coins for relatively longer period. It can be used on the go because of its smaller size and easy portability. It is a lot cheaper than many other wallets and can also store many kinds of cryptocurrencies. Therefore, if you are going to store litecoins for investment purpose it may prove the best option for you. Following are the most peculiar features of this hardware wallet.

Litecoin Core is the main full node implementation of Litecoin. It is the most private wallet and fully verifies all Litecoin transaction data, meaning you don’t have to trust anyone. It is a good choice if you run a business. But otherwise it is a slow wallet that most users won’t want to deal with.

LoafWallet is the best wallet, LoafWallet is made by the Litecoin Association and is a fork of the popular Bitcoin wallet breadwallet. It is currently available for iOS. It’s simple to use and has a very clean interface, making it a great choice for beginners. The wallet can be used to store small amounts of LTC on your phone. But, since it is a hot wallet is should not be used for large amounts of litecoins.

If you want to invest in Litecoins, Litecoin core one of the best wallet for litecoin because it is the official wallet developed by the company. It comes with a lot of security features and is quite easy to use. Many people across the world are using this desktop wallet because it is absolutely free. It gets synchronized with the entire blockchain of the currency for added security.

if I think the best wallet for Litecoin is Electrum-LTC, Electrum-LTC is a lightweight Litecoin desktop wallet that doesn't synchronize the entire Blockchain so you can start using it as soon as it's downloaded. This is a deterministic wallet that provides users with 12-word seeds that ensure that your funds are safe and protected. This is SegWit-capable, and provides another feature where you can freeze your funds for example No one can send Litecoin from that address. However, I would not recommend this wallet at all for those who are new to the world of cryptocurrency, because it does not have a clean UI and looks too techy.

A Litecoin wallet is a software application that allows you to store, send and receive your Litecoins in a secured way. Some of the Litecoin(LTC) wallets focus on security more, some focus on its easy-to-use features. Based on specific requisitions, people choose their wallets.

Every crypto wallet should have the following characteristics:

Selecting a wallet depends on your requirements as there're various kinds of wallets available. But the most important factor should be safety. As once your crypto is gone, there's no getting it back.
There are numerous Litecoin wallets (https://seo spamnews/top-10-litecoin-wallets-2019) and some of the reliable ones are:
Ledger Nano S - This hardware wallet is the best wallet till date and is virtually unhackable. Its 2-FA and its stronghold on the private key makes it quite secure and you can freely rely on it.
Trezor - This hardware wallet supports 1000+ coins and tokens. Trezor is one of the most trusted wallets, is portable and can definitely keep your cryptos safe.
Guarda - This multi-currency online wallet is operable on both mobile as well as on a desktop. It has user-friendly UI apart from being reliable and safe. Guarda provides privacy, as it does not store private keys, or wallet information, or even the user's personal data.

Every crypto wallet should have the following characteristics:

The wallet should be secured.
The wallet community should be active, and the company must be of repute.
The wallet should provide backup and restore.
The wallet should be easy to use and can be navigated easily.
The wallet should be compatible with the devices and operating system being used by the user.
The sole proprietor should be you, i.e the control over the private key lies on you.

Now, let's talk about the best wallets to store Litecoins:
