How reliable are cryptocurrency trading bots that are used in cryptocurrency trading.

That's kind of a very broad answer.. because not all trading bots are the same.  They can range from very poor to better than humans (as its rumored that a lot of the bart candles we've been seeing on BTC are Japanese trading bots designed to trade on leverage).  The best bots will likely have to be written for a specific purpose using a specific token using a specific exchange, where all of the environmentals are customized.  I like the discussion about bots but let's not let this thread turn into linking bots as a bunch of spam, but more a genralized discussion on their effectiveness.

TL:DR Bots can range in effectiveness but you get what you pay for.. top end bots will have to be custom created based on a specific coin and exchange, and likely won't be anywhere near free.
