Why people want Ethereum to over come Bitcoin

Why do some people want the Ethereum to overcome Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profits from ETH or what?

I think they want Ethereum to overtake bitcoin its because are holding more ethereum than bitcoin.

probably many people are investing in eth so they expect eth prices to go up even beyond the btc price, or maybe because they follow this kind of bonty, as there are many coin tokens that join eth.

Indeed, Both coins will have a good future and every investors who will hold will get his rewards.

i think because bitcoin has a John fee for gas in making transaction while ethereum is not too expensive. Aside from this I see no other reason.
