You have to start from somewhere. I think technical analysis is crucial here but not everything. Because crypto market is different from the normal markets, there is hue manipulation. Therefore you should keep up to news and events too... Masternodes, releases, airdrops are important

80% common sense and knowing how the 3 positions work (USD/Tether - BTC - Alt Coins)
20% Technical Analysis to build upon and min-max above.

Start with youtube, and learn about fibonacci retracements and trend lines and candle patterns, use only this for a while then move to moving averages and ichimoku clouds... then incorporate lagging indicators like RSI or MACD... only buy when things are low.. only sell when things are high.. pretty simple in theory.. a lot harder if you trade emotionally.

A newbie to the cryptocurrency investment tend to trade with emotion thats why they end up losing their capital. Just try to be patience and observe market movement, there are only two rules to follow. "Buy low, sell high" patience and luck with brain should always be on your side for you to survive the temptation of selling your coin when price is low.

A welcome to you newbie. You want to start into trading but you don't know what to do. Let me share some of the things you need that will help you.

1. Don't go into a battle with no weapons. - What is this? In battle, a soldier needs weapons in order to win. Same with trading, in order to become a successful one, you need to gain knowledge and information that will help you in trading like for example. How to use indicators, How to use technical analysis. How to read candlesticks and so many more. Don't trade with no knowledge because your money will be gone like "POOF".

2. Trade emotionless. - This is very hard to do especially if you are a very emotional people. When I am starting in trading, I tend to put some emotions in my trading and what is the end - result? LOSS. WHY? Because when I saw my bought coin crashing down, I sold all of it at a loss because I don't want to lose my funds. Don't trade with emotions because emotions will eat you and your money. Trade calmly and no emotions involved. Smiley

3. Be patient - When traders ask for an advice, this is always the first thing they are saying but accept it that some traders tend to become impatient and the end, it will be a loss for them. If your bought coin crashed below your buying price, leave the exchange. Don't see it for hours or even days. Sometimes, we need to hold and be patient for us to gain profits. When I am trading and I see my coin dropped below my buying price, I'm reading here in the forum and I don't see the exchange very often. It will be stressful if you do that.

4. Don't risk any amount that you can't afford to lose. - You need to set a specific amount for you in trading that when that money is lost, you will not feel anything bad. In my first trading, I invested 100$ in trading. Lucky I am not at a loss right now but if if if my 100$ will be gone in trading, I will not feel anything because I can afford that value to lose. In order to do this you need some discipline too.

5. Don't trade by using signals from the pump and dump groups - I inserted this because I know that P & D groups especially on telegrams are SHIT.. PURE BULLSHIT. If you are a newbie, its better to learn how to read charts rather than hoping for the group to share some signals for you. Before they share a signal, they bought it already and they need people to pump it. When the time comes that their target price reached, they will dump into your face very hard that when you are about to sell it, you are now at a loss so don't trade using signals with them.

Hope this helps Smiley

Honestly, just get some money into BTC and start doing it.  You can watch youtube videos and stuff to get some of the basics, but "buy low, sell high" is pretty straight forward.  Experience is the best teacher here, but you should still learn a bit of technical analysis every day as well, so you can know when to buy and when not to buy.

To become an expert trader is to study the nature of the business you like to trade, reading books related to crypto so people want to invest have full knowledge on how crypto work.

Good afternoon! Yes, to learn arbitration of cryptocurrencies to work hard much! And without mistakes anywhere. On the Internet there is a lot of useful information on this subject. However, our best teacher is a practice! When you already gain the minimum knowledge, begin to trade. On small volumes to understand the principle. Also, pay attention on boats which help to trace holes. Our boat, for example. sends notices directly to Telegram with 5000+ of holes in day that allows our users to increase the capital!
So don't waste time, time = money ;)

The answer is simply: start trading.
But before that, I recommend you to watch how prices move for a long time.
Don't try those demo trading, it won't teach you at all, believe me.
Only when you lose or win your many - that experience can teach you.
But you need just to watch how price moves for about a week. Then you'll know much what the crypto can do.
Then you need a good mentor.
In trading without mentorship no way to success.

Looking for experience first, you can start trading with little amount, because trading have many and big risk if you don't know the market and you can't forecast the price of the coin.
And you can use great coin for trading, like ethereum, BTC, BCH and etc.
thanks

I learnt many things about how to trade and invest wisely in crypto. Asking in the forum is also very helpful. But, the most important thing is our own analysis and consideration to see and analyze the market. We must know how to pick the best coin in the low price and sell them when higher.  Never sell at the lower price. Learning by experience is also the best way.

Hello! See you're a professional trader.
I am too.
But I never pay attention to fibonacci retracements and moving averages.
I am kinda conservative trader: for example, I sell if a stock is down and making a little bit correction, then draws base and if it goes down that base, then the stock is weak and should be sold immediately.

For day trading I solely use depth chart analysis, it is best for understanding the market of a coin in the immediate future. Technical analysis is better when you are swing trading where you hold a coin for several weeks. If you want to learn how trade or have questions on crypto in general then I would highly recommend this group: https://discord.gg/HSMHyCy. I've learnt how to be a great trader following their "voodoo rules" and reading everything in the "voodoo library" . The admins give calls on coins using depth chart analysis and the community is great for coin discussion.

I guess you are using many different indicators for your technical analysis? This strategy works for me but it will not give me a 100% win rate, which is pure price action trading without any indicators but just the charts patterns support and resistance zone.

for us for beginners do not be too hasty in trading because it is not a profit that will actually lose. First understand all trade knowledge about crypto. Learn to try with minimal funds ... until you can get a lot of results from small capital first. If you already understand, maybe you can trade as you like .

The cryptocurrency market is insanely volatile in 2018. You can make a fortune in a moment and lose it in the next whether you trade Bitcoin, another coin, or the GBTC Bitcoin trust. Consider mitigating risks, hedging, and not “going long” with all your investable funds. TIP: If you trade only the top coins by market cap (that is coins like Bitcoin Ethereum), or GBTC, then the chances of losing everything overnight are slim (not impossible, but slim). Other cryptocurrencies are riskier (but can offer quick gains on a good day).

It’s so vital to remember that, at the end of the day, the only way you’re going to make money as a cryptocurrency trader is when you actually sell your cryptocurrencies. Of course, this is the same with any kind of trading, but it’s important to be mindful of market fluctuations and figuring out the best time to sell.

I prefer more profit than trading
Before you start trading as a pro, and as a big trader, you must be able to control you emotions of loss, and should have understood how the market chart moves. Trading could be frustrating when the market is facing a hard time, and could be fulfilling when there is a green all round the market.
Caution!!! If you don't take it on a gradual process as a new trader, you could be heading to a dead end. Crypto trading is not to be compared to real life commodities, these are digital currencies, and there is a lot of fluctuations involved.
