I definitely don't think so although I appreciate the asic resistant qualities of it.. it really scares me with bitcoin's mining becoming SO centralized by 3-5 mining groups.. it would be so easy to just really screw us all over.. still though making a replica of a good brand and applying something I like to it doesn't make it the same thing.. I'm sick of forks and clones.. lets make the original bitcoin better instead of duplicating the blockchain and implying that it has value.

Every altcoin dependent of bitcoin price, so if bitcoin rises over 20k USD its possible that BTG could reach to 1000 USD.

I think that it will never reach $1000 even if bitcoin itself rises to a higher number. There are many clones being released so the value of them all will simply drop due to a mass influx of copied bitcoin

I have no doubt bitcoin gold has the potential to do even better. But for it to reach $1000 by the end of 2018, is very unlikely. Because it has to increase by 2,263.46% this year in order to reach this target price. Which is very unlikely.

Based on the current status of the market , it's hard for me to say that BTG will go up to 2x or even 3x because the market right now is unstable so making some speculation is very doubtful.

We don't know exactly what will happen to the future. But with their excellent team I think $1000 is possible. I like the developers idea of always focusing to the purpose of their coin which is decentralization.

It's too difficult to reach 1000 USD due to the fact that the BitcoinGold price is only 30 USD.
It's very sad when I was a BitcoinGold HODL from January 2018 and I lost a lot of Bitcoin. damn !!!

Today bitcoin gold price is $9.3 actually I don't see any big development to this coin still this project is going normally but this coin is listed in many popular exchanges so this coin has huge investors for short or day tradings although I don't expect $1000 even in this year.

Bitcoin gold is a good altcoin today this coin is in 79th place in CMC there are many users using this coin in many exchanges so this coin trade volume is more than $12 million but the price of bitcoin gold is $8 actually there is no good reason the price of bitcoin gold will go to $1000 I think that's impossible target.

I think this is impossible because today the price of bitcoin gold is $ 9.3 it's trade volume is too low as well as it's market capitalization because there is no big improvement in this project thus the price of bitcoin gold is still low I don't think so it will touch $1k.
