How do I delete my post?

Sorry if I ask like a fool. Because asking things might be quite easy for those who already know how.

I accidentally made a double post. And I intend to delete one of them. But I didn't find the delete button at the top of my post. And I only found the Quote and Modify buttons.

Can someone please tell me how to delete the posts we have made on this forum. Previously I didn't think about deleting posts. But today, for the first time, I intend to delete a post that I accidentally made twice.

I guess these are the only options for OP to do that, but every forum has its features and rules, I like this feature it will make us think about what we post so we will not regret it later or purchase a rank to enable deleting the posts. which is a good one also this supports the burning of the token to reduce the supply, the third one is your only option requesting the moderator to delete your posts but you have to accept whatever decision the moderators make.

This forum doesn't have the option for us to delete the topic or post, but we can modify that post and can write there nothing and can leave that space empty this will indicate that the post is useless and thus after doing this we can report it to the moderators and can ask them to delete the post for you. If the moderators are given the access to do that, otherwise only the admin can do that. I also once mistakenly posted in the same thread tow times.

And I had to delete the post, and that's when I realized this forum doesn't have any delete option. So, I prefer you to delete the post by editing the post and enter the text there as Delete this post, if any moderators saw this, This might solve your problem, or we should just ask admin to add this feature.

This is indeed a great feature, but it's still possible that you might occasionally forget about some of the features of this forum, especially for some who are not used to it yet. Just like me, I have missed some of the posts in the past due to my excitement to discuss various topics with other new users on this platform. This is why the option of burning ALTT tokens is a fantastic idea, as it is much more affordable than purchasing a special rank.

Thank you everyone for the answers and well this is a relief to me because at least there are options I can choose from. And for now I have chosen to modify the double post that I have made. And yeah someday I might have to try buying some of the features on this forum. Or maybe burn altt tokens.

Because double posting actually doesn't bother me at all. So I'll leave it blank for now.

I think this is something that the admin should change, i don't think i have ever been in a forum were i have to 'buy' the right to delete my own posts, everyone should be able to delete their posts. However if the admin does not want to make it that way, then maybe he should set it that members can delete their post 48 hours after the post is made. I don't think i would ever want to spend anything or buy any special rights to delete my own posts.

More on to that, the forum has its token, where using tokens to delete a post helps to burn the tokens. Users can earn ALTT tokens by earning points, so this feature is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a give-and-take system where you can exchange the tokens for money or use them to delete your post and benefit the community.

I'm not really a fan of this tokenize of the forum to boost the price but if there is anything I will like to be remove from the option, then it's that delete option to burn some ALLT tokens. I mean, I can just make a mistake to type some things and then change my mind to delete and then before I do that, I have to burn some tokens with some additional gas fees. I don't know if I'm sounding not logical but I think lots of people who ignore the post and move into another aspect of the forum.

I'm addition, if they want ALLT to be useful, I don't think paying for rank should have the option to delete, the token burn should be the only option because the other one is you are paying with another token which is not adding anything to ALLT unless the money generated will be added to boost ALLT liquidity.

admin I don't know if the report link is working because I made an report to delete post which I also edited it before hitting report button since on the 28 of February and today is 4th of March. And today I got your comment on my notification and I checked the comment reported to be deleted but it is still there. Look at it.

I think admin has answered the question so there is no need to share anymore information by anyone else. I recommend OP, to read the post of admin so he can understand that how this forum works.

A user cannot delete his posts but if you think that your posts are not worthy to be present on this forum then you can report those posts as mentioned by admin.

In order to be able to delete your topic you will have to be a donor or you will have to burn a $10 worth of ALTT. If you wanted to delete a single topic then you will have to burn$1 worth of ALTT. You can get more information by visiting this page.

In my experience, it is not complicated at all when you don't have special ability and rank. You just have to report that to the admin and add a reason why you want it to have deleted. I guess being a royalty and donator has really some good perks if you can avail that one. So, that's it. The admin and mods are active and probably have always been looking into the queue of reported posts that want to get deleted.
