I don't really think it's the first one. I was researching the blockchain messengers and some of them were launched before it. Another question is if they're so private as they promise. I'm not sure..
Not long ago one more private messenger appeared on the market. It's called Utopia https://beta.u.is/ and is said to be decentralised and peer-to-peer ecosystem with mining function, its own mail, browser and crypto coin. They're on beta now and I've decided to take part in a testing. Already earned come BTC :)
