Both of them do not need to be compared because they are also clearly different.
You only see it at Coinmarketcap and all you can see is the total difference. LOL

- All Exchange can accept Bitcoin

XEM
- The #DevelopmentTeam  is known
- The price is cheap
- Not all Exchange is available for XEM

Very simple and very convincing by just seeing something like that.

There is no camparison with BTC and XEM, BTC is king of crypto and no ALT can beat BTC. U can compare XEM with other projects.

XEM is not a contender of BTC no cryptocurrency is. The Bitcoin value determines the price and value of other altcoins even if they have better features like cheaper transaction cost, speed and scalability

Do not occasionally compare with Bitcoin because no matter how strong altcoins are in terms of community or finance, I think it will be outdone by Bitcoin.
So, I don't think XEM can be compared to Bitcoin, except TS compares XEM with other altcoins.

There is no competition for both as bitcoin will remain the king of cryptocurrencies and will always be at the top of marketcap because it is the mainly use for pairing to altcoins,

I see BTC is more famous than XEM. Most people tend to buy BTC than XEM for their assets. But I have a little different idea, I think now XEM is better to buy than BTC. Look at the price of BTC, it seems to go down very much. While XEM looks like to increase again. So, it is time for XEM to grow.

Bitcoin is the king of all crypto currencies, and a bedrock/foundation for lots of crypto projects that comes into the crypto ecosystem. Bitcoin has gained trusth and a large number of user adoption. Generally accepted by all crypto exchange and the number one coin in the system. XEM is a cheap coin, barely known, and has a low number of user adoption.

both of these coins between XEM and bitcoin are both very good indeed, and I really believe that xem is also very potential, and xem has a very good transaction or transfer speed.

It is unfortunate that BTC has a high selling point but has an Anonymous #DevelopmentTeam , whether they have a reason to make themselves anonymous

I agree bro, I think Bitcoin is better than XEM. Bitcoin is always be the King of crypto currency and I see many I people already invested in bitcoin and still hold it. XEM is very potential, but not so popular as bitcoin. It will take several years again.

Yes, bitcoin is most popular than other.. But I believe the popularity of NEM  will increase day by day. NEM is suitable for long term investment,  I think if you want invest for hold, you can buy more NEM and hold.

I think It depends on what investment do you want  to do. If you prefer in short term, you can do it and do daily trading. I have no free time, So I will choose hold for long term investment. It is more profitable for me.

Of course, do daily trading and investing for short term is more profitable than hold for long term investment. I also agree hold for long term is more risky. I personally don't like to do. I am really enjoying trading

I think bitcoin is better than xem  for investments and shorterm tradings , bitcoin is a major crypto currency I'm using only btc for leverage tradings because other altcoins following only the price of btc so we can easily follow the fluctuations.

These two crypto currencies cannot be compared. The value of NEM coin is much lower than bitcoin in the crypto world. Bitcoin is a king of crypto currency. Bitcoin is used and supported by many countries and leading companies in the world. This includes Tesla, microstrategy and many more companies.
