The competition between Solana and BNB is very tight. A few days ago, SOL had not overtaken BNB's position in 4th place in Coin market cap. However, not long after, BNB was able to reclaim 4th place. I don't think that BNB and SOL are competitors because one is an exchange utility tokens but became the next thing due to their IEO profits that was coming from Launchpad and the EVM fast cloning of Ethereum chain that made BSC20 transactions to be faster and cheaper fees while Solana was created as a new blockchain on it own.

Solana was created to compete with likes of Ethereum but more better in scaling and not to look like it's a copy or clone of Ethereum and it was successful but their partnership with FTX is what made killed the chain because of how controversial the exchange became in 2022. I like Sol but I wish they can be unique and stop comparing with ethereum.

The coin Solana is a mixed bag. Well Solana has show impressive growth and adopt, in decentralized finance and non fungible tokens. In the other hand there are still issues to clear , like issues with scalability, centralization, and competition in othe Blockchain networks.in the crypto space there is nothing if not volatile and Solana could either way in the future. But Solana has a Bright future. On like any other crypto, it's not without it's risks. If you wish to invest make sure you do your research well.

If you think Solana was created to be a competitor to ethereum, that could happen in the future, but Solana has to get past BNB first. BNB with binanc smart chain is also quite popular and widely used as a smart contract platform. I think all three will be competitors in the future.

Solana is currently having quite good development and is on its way to beating BNB which is only a few steps away. Currently the price of Solana is already at $144 and is already in the top five positions according to coinmarketcap data, even though Solana is a network that has just been created and launched but is already in the top five, meaning Solana has the potential to beat BNB soon.

Yesterday, Solana success break out the BNB transaction volume after raising to the 2nd standings position and Solana coins pump drastically, but with bitcoin crashes make Solana coins have back to lower price under $177 but still has chance to break out or recovery when bitcoin pumping.
I think Solana have good potential coin in the future after success breaking out since dropping under $20 and today unbelievable when raising up above $200. Its waiting the moment awhile to see Solana return to their last ATH price and keep stable on the higher price.
